Collection agencies can now text your cell phone until u ask them to stop

Beware SMS is one of the many acronyms of the former IPA (International Profit Associates).  Other acronyms are: GPS, STA, CBS, VAS, Global Resources, ABS Canada among others.  They fall under one umbrella called International Services .. a re-branding of IPA.  Same personnel ... same sexual harrassment ... same scam.  Stay away from them.

I finally have registered for 800notes and I have a huge list posted at my desk I call "waste of time" of which this caller is on numerous times.  The caller ID shows SMS   425-533-0040 and the guy on the other end asks for the owner of the company by name.  I screen ALL CALLS to the owner cause he doesn't need to be bothered by solicitors and I tell him that **** is not in right now would you li {click} he just hangs up - I just talley that number & ID on my handy dandy list and that person no longer gets even a hello.

Caller ID showed "SMS," I'm pretty sure they'ved called before. Asked for our owner, after I told him that he was retired and could I transfer him to a different associate he said "yes, sure" and then hung up. I called the number back and politely asked I be taken off of their telemarketing list. The guy who answered took down both of our company phone numbers and politely said we were removed from the list.

Caller ID shows "SMS." A guy asks for the owner by name, says his name is Doug Goldberg with Mark (something's) office.  I ask "What is Mark's last name again?"  He says it again really fast so you can't understand.  I ask, "Could I take your number and I'll have him call you back?"  The guy says, "Oh yeah sure!"  Click.  He hangs up.

I'm on board with the permahold thing.

First call from this number today. Caller ID showed SMS, guy on the phone rattled off a string of surnames then started to chat me up. I don't have time to be chatted up.

If they should call again, they'll get dumped into permahold.

This dude keeps calling and calling and calling.  Ask for the pres of company.  We tell him he's not in today.  He gets very pushy and asked to be reminded of his cell phone number.  We say "nice try".  Caller ID says SMS.  We are having fun messing with him over the phone at least.

Today is a gal that called, wanting the President again. Advised that he was out. She then asked for another partner. Told her there wasn't one, so then she asked for President's schedule.  This firm has been calling for MONTHS, now.  When will they get a clue?

Caller indicated that he was with the offices of (Lane?) or (Jayden?) & Powell.  Looks to be a collection group or litigation attorneys for bankruptcies.  Asked for Owner by name.  Said he wasn't here.  Caller said he'd call Owner's cell phone, which, by the way, no one has.  Told caller "Good Luck!".

ABS in Bellevue WA. Wants our company President. Nope, not today.
