they called today, 6/20/14 @ noon & left message re: lower interest rate, 6% mentioned..blah, blah, blah.  we don't pick up  if not familiar with the callers #.

CID came up as "HNN Associates".

Their supposed web site states:  "HNN Associates, LLC is a privately held investment management organization."
I never heard of them and have no idea why they would call an out-of-work-for-six-years person.

I just received a call from these Scammers ...my phone rang once and it was gone as in disconnected,
After getting these calls for months I signed up for a Free blocking service, www.Nomorobo.com.
I'd estimate that this service now blocks around 5 out of every 6 Robo Telemarketers and usually I hear only one ring (if any) before the call is disconnected. I've been using Nomorobo since December 2013.
It's a lot less frustrating than screaming at these SOB scammers and, after months of reporting to the FTC to no avail,  I know now the Feds could care less about pursuing these clowns.

Noticed number in caller ID.  No message left.

got a call from this number this morning at 7:35 am.. caller's id claimed it was "dr's office" so, not being fully awake as i had planned on sleeping in today... I answered...  was a recorded message offering me "help" with dealing with chronic pain (if I or someone in my home under age 65 was dealing with chronic pain...) hung up on them, of course..

The "USA DO NOT CALL" system still does not work for s***!

HNN Associates Belleview WA.  They are an apt. rental/ mgt. co. Someone is spoofing the # for scam purposes.

These people keep calling with a recorded message to lower my card rate. I finally dialed 9 to talk to a representative. When she answered she asked if I was calling about lower interest rates. I said no, I was calling to tell you to stop calling me. She said "Aw Shaddup!" and hung up. My number is on the do not call registry - what a waste of time that is!  Caller ID shows the number as 1-425-533-0245 When I called back I get a fax machine.

Could you define "Nasty"? Can one pay on the "Layaway plan"?

Got a voice mail saying it was urgent they speak with me about reducing my rates

I accidently answered this number and it was a robo telling me I had been selected to have my interest lowered.  I hung up.

Got a robo call from this number.  "press 1 to lower your interest rates".  They tried to get me to give them my credit card number and expiration date.  I said, "how do I know you are legit?"  They told me some BS about how they are doing this under some credit card act passed by congress.  I said "Hang on while I do a reverse lookup on your phone number".  I didn't find any info at first.  They tried to give me their 800#, I said "That doesn't help, that's not the number you are calling me from."  I asked, "Can you call me back on a number that I can verify?"   They said, "Yes, I will call you right back from our 800#." Then they never called back.  I am so glad I didn't give these people my card information!

Blocking the number is useless, they use fake/spoofed numbers. They will use a different number tomorrow, and the next day, and the day after that and so on, all from various places across the country. The calls are coming from the suspected area. They use VoIP (computers) to robo dial numbers. When you press a button (NOT RECOMMENDED) the computer fowards your number to a boiler-room criminal operation where the people behind the phone know they are out to steal your personal information. It is an old criminal operation that has been going on for years. There are a network of criminals, like a virus, they just keep spreading.

The Do Not Call List does work. These scammers are criminals. Since when has any criminal cared about the law? All these criminals want to do is steal. There is no company, there are no services provided, they wont lower your interest rate, you can't contact them, the number is fake, the caller is is fake, all they want to do is steal. Steal your credit card information. The calls will continue, they will use different caller ID's. Just beware.

NEVER GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE. STOP having your identities stolen and creidt card and banking accounts drained.

Telemarketing calls ARE ILLEGAL. If you receive a call that is automated or a machine is selling any service, then it is illegal. Unless it is with a company you have done business that you are aware of reminding you of something. Dead give away is if you receive a phone call that is out of area with a weird caller ID. The lower your interest rate scam should be familiar to EVERYONE. Seriously, it has been going on for years. Every newspaper and national news organization has reported on it. Report the call. PLease report every single one to the DO NOT CALL LIST. You can also report to your state's DO Not Call Service or Office of Attorney General. As well, WARN Others, let people know that telemarketing scams are on the rise and they are fastly becoming the number one way that people loose their identities and credit card/banking information. Just google lower your interest rate scam for more information or visit the FBI and FCC website.

Rule of thumb, if you need help, YOU CALL for the service. NEVER do business or give out personal information over the phone to random callers with suspicious information who call you!

According to Clark Howard,  the National do not call list, is ineffective because the crooks  found a loop hole ... so much for that idea.

This is ridiculous. What's the point of being on the NATIONAL DO NOT CALL list if we're still getting solicited calls. Just keep reporting them. They get fined 10K each time.

Received two calls at about 9:46AM EST today from different numbers with the same messages, one right after the other.  Both had recordings stating, "Press the number 1 now to reduce your rates."  All I needed to hear.  Since this isn't the first time, I'll be blocking both numbers... 941-803-4666 and 425-533-4666

Ignored the call, showed up under Caller ID as "Bellevue WA"

An unanswered call from this number left a partial prerecorded unintelligible voice message.  After reading other remarks left on this site about this number I blocked it.

I got call today from those people. Is lady voice. Is a robocall.

I got a call from this number at 6:37am!!!! I am pissed! Is there a way to report this? I am on the national do not call list and it seems to do no good when you can't reach a live agent and when you do they hang up on you!!!

I to have revived this message form my G..gle phone number(name not typed in full because it is a copyrighted name). I have blocked them.

they called me on my business cell (which I don't use very often) and i got the recorded message when I answered.  I proceeded to hit "0" and got a call rep who asked me if I was responding the lower interest rate offer.  I then said, "no, I'm responding to have you remove my business phone from your call list," to which she responded by abruptly hanging up on me.

This number has called a few times.  Left no message.  There seems to be a list of numbers that continually call and there is no way to block them.  Especially the 800 numbers.  This is not only a nuisance, but a pain and a waste.  Since they don't pay the phone bill, they should not have the control over who get to call whom.

The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies in an effort to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers so they can rip us off. People that have given these lowlifes their card number have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these junkies, and warn others before they are cheated.
