They claim to be a business call and will not tell the business, they call on weekends  They say they are Senery.  They ask for a guy who does not live here, I have had this phone # for 32 years.   They keep pestering me.   I say "Never call me again about your business that you keep secret."    They call again during normal sleeping hours.

Do you realize you don't owe Sentry Credit money?  You owe US Bank the money... recession or not, you got yourself into the debt.  Take responsibility instead of blaming it on everything else going on.  If you're so hurt by the recession then file bankruptcy.

@wow:

Way to go with the blanket statement implying that anyone that is in debt is because of "their" own doing. How about the big banks that when THEY got into debt because of THEIR carelessness, they got big bailouts from the government. There's blame to go ALL AROUND, not just on the consumer. Idiot!

By the way - here's all the banks that recieved BAILOUT money from WE the taxpayers:

I do realize bad things happen to good people... I've been there myself.  However, that doesn't excuse your debt and give you a free ride.  Especially to people who take out loans or purchase things on credit with no intentions on paying it back.  Your post does not explain why people working at McDonalds are buying 50K+ vehicles and wondering why they can't afford payments.

I've never seen anyone working at McDonalds driving a $50,000 car.  It's a mixed bag with debt.  I think people actually believed they could afford the car they bought considering the income they were making from their job.  Even if it was a stretch for them financially, they could still make their payments with their current job.  No one expected the job market to crash and home values to plummet.  It's just an unfortunate situation people are in with debt.
