This is a back-line phone number for Sentry Credit in Everett, WA.  Locally they handle collection accounts for Boeing Employee Credit Union (and probably some other institutions as well).

I have dealt with them several times in settling debts for clients.  They are actually pretty reputable and professional to deal with.  If you do not want to recieve further calls from them --answer the phone, ask for a mailing address, and send them a letter stating that you are not to be contacted.  They will comply.

I have been receiving calls from this number as well. Two have come within the past thirty minutes. I don't answer the calls, but the voicemail states:

Hi Holly this is Diane calling from Century Credit. This is an attempt to collect a debt. I think we have some options that you'll be interested in. Call me back at 425-740-5705."


The second came within minutes of the first: "Hello Holly this is Diane calling from century credit. This is an attempt to collect a debt. Call me back when you get this message. It's June 18th.  I think we have some different options that you haven't heard before. Give us a call back at  425-740-5705"

The last comment posted in this thread was June 18th, 2010. I just find it strange that we all have received calls from "Diane." It didn't sound like pre recorded messages because they were both different. I always look up numbers that call me and when I read this thread I decided not to answer the calls.

Woman named Diane, said it was important.  That is what they always say.  Number is in Everett Washington.
  When she left the message at the beginning she said something, but I couldn't understand it.

She said it was an important business issue

Yeah i had the same thing what is the point of the call ?

I received a message from this Diane, same thing--talked really fast, wasn't clear, just left a number for me to call and didn't say why.

Yeah, Diane Cooper calls and states she is on a recorded line. She is calling about a debt I have no knowledge of and asks me to confirm my date of birth and social security number.  I tell her that I do not give my consent to be recorded which is required in California.  She says well then I can't continue the conversation unless we are recording so you have a nice day.  I say, feel free to mail me something and she says she does not have my correct address.  I ask her what address she does have and she says sorry unless you confirm your information I can't continue the call.  I say have a nice day.  

Very strange.  I think she said Century Credit Agency?  Anyway, that's what i got.
