RoboCall Telemarketer Carrier: Level3. I did *67 to block my VOIP number to call back & had an automated attendant indicate "and cannot accept new messages at this time". I stayed connected long enough to hearing a switching sound similar to the number 201-351-7760 that I had reported as a RoboCall received on my iPhone but traced on my VOIP. I then got automatically disconnected by the automated attendant (not sure if these culprits are trying to do a phone trace). For those with Android devices your so much better off in being able to prevent repeat calls. For those with iPhone I recommend using FREE app YouMail to ditch calls. For calls made to Landline, I subscribe to http://nomorobo.com/ The call rang once and the free service endorsed by FTC 2013 award prevented the illegal telemarketing call from being answered by me or by voice mail as a hang-up. Call centers invoice the carriers through monthly tariffs for connecting calls either answered by your voice mail or a human being ... Reason why majority of calls are hang-ups!

Person calls and keeps asking for one person by first name only. When I ask what it is about they just keep asking for the person by first name. Then they ask if I am that person and I said no and they hung up. Nice to have them hang up instead of me this time. It did say on the caller ID Maple Valley, WA

I have had this number appear twice in my called ID today (8204259064144).  I did not answer and they left no message.  I work in IT so there may be a connection.

Woman with a heavy accent, could not understand her.  This is the fourth call with "011" at the beginning.  

Recieved at least 3 calls after I got into work today from the number our phone system listed as 425-906-4144. The calls go to our operator first who told me that there had been more than three calls (apparently others before I got in) and that they either asked for the voicemail for my extension or for me by name. I believe the operator said they we all (or most) female and had an accent. The 3 calls I answered were all quiet for a couple seconds followed by a click like the party hanging up.

They called and asked to be transferred to my voice mail.  I told them "i am right here" and she hung up immediately.  I did some research...and it is Infosys.  I called and left message to explain that what they do is not really legal (spoofing numbers and soliciting without providing opt-out).  I told them I am reporting them to the authorities (which i have).  I am also going to post on their website a link to this page.

I got one today.  Another medium-to-heavy accent.  She told me twice her name was Christine Lyons.  Oh, please; your name is Lakshmi Bhattacharjee.  Anyway, it took her six or seven sentences of apologizing for the inconvenience and starting and re-starting her introduction before she finally got to the words "fax-based solution."  Okay, no thanks, Christine.  Bye!

I got two of these today from a female.  Our system has caller id, so if I don't know the number, I pass it to VM and it's pretty effective at deterring these and any other similar calls.  Nevertheless,  the second episode was actually amusing in that she thought she was on hold when in fact she was speaking into VM.  She was singing something in an Indian or Pakistani accent, paused then waited a little longer and belched then sang some more.  Finally the VM terminated for length of message.

Anyhow passed the message off to my office mates.  They should find it amusing as well.  Have fun with.. ;)

First call came with no reply to my answer. 2nd call came 1/2 hour later (as 204259064144). She had a heavy middle-eastern accent which I could not understand even after telling her 3 times. She had my name and company, but wrong email address format (I assume she was guessing). Told her to email the info to me and hung up.

I received a call two times from 425-906-4144... First call was a man with a heavy accent. Asked for a name of someone that did not work at our company. I told him the person he was looking for was not at our company. He gave me attitude and repeated the name again. I hung up. Same number called right a minute later and was the same guy. He yelled at me for hanging up on him and said he was a patient at the hospital our IT company services. Threatened me and also the company I work for. I told him I knew he was not a patient and hung up on him again. He did not call back. When I searched the number, I found this site and am very glad I did. DO NOT give this caller any information.

I got a strange phone call from this phone number too (8204259064144). She had a very strong accent so it was hard to understand her at times, but she said that she was Christine Lyons with a company called Strategy One. She said that she was confirming that I received an email from her.  The email address that she raddled off was an email address that has never been setup at this company, and she kept calling me by my maiden name.  She never cared to ask for my married name to update her records - only a new email address.  I gave her a bogus email address & when she asked for another email address, I told her that she didn't need a second email address. I should have hung up long before we ended the call, but now that I came across this site, I feel very glad that I didn't provide her with a real email address.

he wanted me to confirm an address.  when i refused he became very persistant and i hung up on him.  he called back 3 times and used the "B" word and dropped the "F" bomb.  he called back several more times but only 4 digits showed up on the caller id.  i didn't pick up the calls and let then go into voice mail but he didn't leave any messages.   today there were two more calls from him which i also let go onto voicemail.

Just got a call at work.  Didn;t pick up, as the "too many digits" phone number is a ad giveaway it's not legit.

Asked for his supervisor - got rude then hung up.

There should be a dead-or-alive bounty for these types... I'll give a few thousand.

425-906-4144 got a call from a guy with heavy accent (maybe Pakistan or India, not sure) said he was Franco with RigZone and needed to talk to a guy in our office.  I said he wasn't available and he said he could talk to me since I'm the office manager.  He asked about how many oil professionals we will be hiring in the near future.  I said we don't hire the onsite jobs, that we just are a small office for sales and investments and have no plans to hire anyone anytime soon.  He wanted my email and I said he could send me his document about how to screen Resumes, but he was persistent in making me SAY that I was going to hire.  He tried to make me commit to hiring 1-5 people in the near future.  I said well maybe one, but not likely.  We hung up.  
2nd call 30seconds later, he tried again to make me SAY we would for sure be hiring in the future, which got me irritated that he would want me to SAY what he wanted to hear like I would be bound to it.  I changed my tune and said that there is no likely hood of hiring anyone in the near future.  He asked why? I said the economy and we didn't need anyone. He persisted, then hung up.
3rd call 30 seconds later, same accent but now is asking for the HR department.  I ask if this is Franco again, and he says he is Garbonzo with Tech White. I mention that he is calling from the same number as Franco and amused, say HR is not in but I'd love to take a message.  He asks to speak to my supervisor and I say he is in a meeting, so he hung up.
4th call 30 seconds later....same accent.  Asks for the same guy as the first call.  I say no he's available, can I take a message... "no" and he hung up.
Haven't seen an email yet.  Sounds fishy to me!

Received a phone call from this number today. Connection sounded as though it was from overseas.  The speaker was a woman with an accent, clearly from India. Wanted to know if I was interested in consulting for legacy systems. I told her I was NOT the person to speak to, refused to provide an alternative to transfer to and hung up on her.

Just received a call from this number asking to speak to an individual in our IT department.  The individual is employed here part-time.  Don't know where/how they got her name.  It took me several minutes to get through to the female caller that we don't have an IT department.  She said she must have been given incorrect information.  Caller had a heavy foreign accent but was polite.

Claimed to be from US Dept of Labor and wanted to send information regarding IT law to employees he wanted me to confirm.  When pressed for something demonstrated he worked for the dept of labor, he went silent and then hung up.  Slight accent, not a native speaker

Called me 8 times today after i kept hanging up, would not get the clue. Didn't know who she was asking for and never heard of the name. Wouldn't believe me kept demanding to speak with a Manager transferred to guy across the cube from me. He played with her head as well, asked to report me, wanted to turn me in as rude and unprofessional he said go ahead and advised her she would have to find a number to contact on our website.......... Stopped calling. I have heard from these people and this number several times over the last few months i have been here 2 years and i have the number written down.

These people are calling from Infosys trying to get update their contact lists and to offer business solutions via IT technology.  Very persistent, but luckily, so am I.  The woman did not want to end the call until she had my name - finally had to terminate the call.  She immediately called back, lowered her voice with the hopes that I wouldn't recognize her asking for yet another name...  Buzz!  Thanks for playing.

I have received 3 calls today from 820.425.906.4144.  Te 1st one, a female who spoke English very well, wanted to speak to my manager, when I said he was unavailable, she said that she would call back.

2 hours later she did call back, this time she told me her name was Joyce and she was with Technology White Papers.  She wanted me to give her my email address so she could send me some documentation, when I told her we were not interested and to remove us from their calling list she said ok and hung up.

Then another 3 hours later she called yet again, this time she must have recognized my voice and realized that she is not near as persistant as I am, and proceeded to hang up with no communication on her part.

Was from "8204259064144" on caller ID. Couldn't find that in google. My voicemail recorded the guy whispering "oh my god".

Apparently they continue to call and even have some staff names.  They have started being as unscrupulous as to use pitches like ?I am her brother/son/uncle, and there has been a death in the family? to get past the receptionists.  Please be careful.

Caller Id read (425) 906-4144  (4th call came in "unknown") Called 4 times in less than 15 minutes, first 2 times he asked for people who no longer work her, 3rd time he TOLD me to put him through to another guy, when i asked the name and company he told me in an annoyed tone i put him right into voicemail, he imeediately called back an asked for one of my other guys, i said :Sir you have called 4 times, i will be happy to put you in voicemail, he told me if i do he will just call right back because he "needs" to talk to someone in IT.  I asked if he was a client, he claimed "yes" i asked his name and company again, and then called the guy he was asking for and told him to mess with him because he had been very rude to me and the other girl who had answered the phone...:-).  Looking forward to see what this douchbag "really" wanted once he got through to the person he was "calling" for.

A woman called and asked for the IT manager.  I replied that he was not in and asked if I could take a message.  She then asked for any available IT staff.  When I asked what it was regarding, she hung up.

I just had a similar experience answering a call for my Supervisor.  The man claimed to be a "friend" of my Boss and said it was an emergency and would only speak to him when I inquired further trying to assist him in a "true emergency" scenario.  He would only give a first name and anything further but the call was not a direct dial phone call either.  Which is typically a sign of a telemarketing firm or sales call. Very odd.......
