Finally blocked the number!

They now have disconnected the 323-522-5565 number but you know that they will still be active using another number

I been getting one those calls from canada  what can i do  to stop it they call me the last three days if they do it again today i reaslly considering calliny my PD  i tired of it

I received a call from this number saying i had virus on the computer, Indian accent, talked fast, ended up wanting a credit card number.. I hang up.

Daily calls multiple times a day.  Did not answer

We keep getting calls from this number about once or twice a day. We live in Nova Scotia Canada. We answered it once - not again! If you do answer by mistake just tell them you use a Mac.

The same thing happened to me yesterday and today.

They keep calling and calling and calling!  claming they are from customer support for my computer.  I know it's a scam.  I used to let the answering machine pick up, but they won't stop calling.  So I've answered the last 3 calls (since 8:00 last night) and have told them to stop calling.  This time (just now) the guy said "How do you know we are a scammer?"  Sheesh!

This foreigner called me from this 425 number and sang to me in a foreign language. When I told them they must have the wrong number he just laughed and kept singing. It was creepy.

Been getting these phone calls sometimes 20 times a day for about 2 weeks.  We tried answering but nothing there.  Then someone told my husband they were looking for "Fernandez".  He told them there is no one here by that name and to quit calling.  that was yesterday... Have recieved at least 10 calls so far today.  We will look into blocking.

Got a call from 1-425-998-1533. They even have website (24x7pchelp.com).
Indian guy called 3 times in 2 months. Wants to show me and fix problem with my computer.

First call- he said he was from California, Microsoft software, and needs to get into my computer via remote. I hung up.
Second call said from Florida. Telling me my computer is spreading a serious virus, and they will shut me down if I don't cooperate. They wanted to do REMOTE ASSISTANCE. Never allow anyone to do that unless you know them. They can go inside and do as they please.
Third call- Florida again. No blocked number this time. This time my C-DRIVE is infected. Says I will lose all my data.
DON"T LET THEM. Tell them the person has moved away. Calls will end

"Gee they're now even outsourcing the scam artists!"  --hahahahahahahaha that made my night. This number called me three times in a row.

I'm getting about 10 calls a day from that number.  It's very annoying.  I wonder if there is a way to get the police involved?  Or something like that?

Guy with Indian accent said wanted me to log into my computer so he could help me fix some of the problems that were occurring with Windows. I quickly Googled it and lots of scam info came up so I hung up on him. I wish I'd known so I coulda messed with him and run up his phone bill.

I never answer any calls I don't know.
And the funny thing is they never leave a message!!  Strange.

Called at 9am, saying he was with Microsoft virus scan alert.  He had an Indian accent.  I said no thanks and ended the call.

I got the same thing, just a tinkle and then an automated "good-bye".

We get calls from this number DAILY and often more than once a day!!! It is always complete silence when we answer. I just tried calling the number because this is simply harassment now! Just got some music.

Annoying Indian? woman asking question about my operating system. I couldn't understand what company she was saying she represented. I asked a few questions of my own and then told her I knew it was a scam and hung up.

same as all the above. Very annoying because we usually received these calls during the night or late evening. Very pissed off about it and I wish they stop calling...

Same story as everyone elses...  According to my web research this call orginates in Lynnwood, WA.  I'm considering forwarding all inbound calls to the Lynnwood PD (my tel service forwards all of the caller info - ID string, Ph#, etc...)  Maybe the Lynwood PD can do something about these guys.

I have noticed on my call display this number 5 or 6 times a day for about a week now. No messages left on my answering machine. Have searched internet on this number and see lots of complaints about it.

They called, same story as evryone else. I told them hold on a minute, then I put the phone on the comp speaker and turned on some old 70s porn. He listened for 15 min, my wife and I almost died laughing. Try and keep them occupied ,at least that way we can slow them down.

Same as the above.  Male caller with a heavy East Indian Accent.  I've had these calls before and now make a game of it.  I let him tell me all the things that were wrong with my computer and I acted concerned on my end of the phone.  Then I said that it was interesting that he knew what was wrong with my computer and found my phone number.  Then I said that I didn't have a computer (which I do) and he quickly hung up.  Next time maybe I can have them stop by using a very loud blow horn!

Scam, do not provide any info. No way for local agencies to stop the phones call, just continue to ignore.
