I am a seller and have received a text from this person as well asking to purchase my kitchen equipment. I reported the number as suspicious to craigslist and suggest you do the same so we can keep people like this off the site.

This guy has been contacting my boyfriend about a stove he has listed on Craig's list, asking him for a paypal account. First of all, we know it's a scam because the stove we listed was from the 1800's and he asked if we were the first owners of the stove! What an a-hole! People have posted all over the internet saying he's doing the same thing to them... trying to buy motorcycles, furniture, horse trailers, etc. This is an absolute scammer!

I just had the same thing happen with my motorcycle ad on CL...  This guy is a fake.....

This guy must be a shopaholic.  Not only does he want to buy everybody's furniture, motorcycles, cars, etc., we also received a text saying he wants to buy our 1998 Chevy Silverado listed on CL.  It's a scam.  Block his number...

Yup, same here - got a text from this number in response to a craigslist ad I posted. Offered to paypal me money. Definitely not legit.

I got a text message today from this person asking for a part I had up for sale on craigslist. I had a feeling this was a hoax/fake account since there was no asking for me to lower the price of the motorcycle item I had up for sale.
This person wanted my paypal account for immediate transfer of money.

I just got a similar offer today. Thanks for the posts, I'm declining his offer.

this guy just did the same thing to me about a truck i was selling for 5000,, he claimed the money was in my account and i checked it he put 6000 in their and said my funds were pending i reported him and found out he is fake,,, anda scammer dont do business with this guy EVER

I just received a similar text and google searched the number.  Thanks for posting because he was pitching the same PayPal story with me.  I texted a piece of my mind.  It's a shame.... Nothing is safe and people always have to watch their back.

This guy keeps on assisting that there is 2700 awaiting my conformation after Isend six hundred of my own money to a supposed shipper so that I can receive payment from paypal for my jeep

this same person (Wilson bill) has been texting me for 2 days about my motorcycle I put on CL and has been trying to get my paypal acct . I've been thinking the whole time its a scam ,and even asked him if he was trying to scam me ,And his response was what do you meen im not here for pranks or games.

this guy just kept texting me about pipe corral I have for sale-then without looking at it he asked for paypal account-appears to be a texas phone # suspected something was up so I googled # and found he has done quite a bit-I am assuming he would hack into my account....

same thing asking if my motorcycle is in good condition if you dont recognize the area code than its spam

This person is trying to buy my horse trailer, and by the way they were texting I knew it was a scam. People are ruthless!!!!!!   good thing I looked the number up.

Text from this number responding to my CL ad saying they'll wire money to my paypal. Not sure how they are using paypal address to scam, but definitely not legit.

I also got a text on CL ad. Generic language in his text and simply repeats my ad heading, so easy scam to me. I'd suggest you block, like I did
