These idiots called us at 8:35 am to collect money to raisefunding for children? My wife was pissed - she was sleeping on her day off. Bastards should not call at 8:35 am to collect money for whatever reason. Damn inconsidered Bastards.

i love the call screening feature of comcast digital voice (voip),,,,,i just added this number to the list via the comcast website and no more calls from these folks....

Anytime people like this calls... I answer  "Stanleys" They are like "Mr Stanley?" Im like "No this is Stanleys, we do upholstery and leather work"

They never call back....

I urge everyone to do this exactly the same, so maybe they will get the point, and then everyone will answer their phone, "Stanleys"  HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA

Received call this morning. Came up on caller ID as "Virginia"

Called around 1pm. NO message left. Said Lynchburg, VA on the Caller ID. Before that, I got a call from a 703# with no ID and no message left either. As far as the DNC list...I think that the DNC list is where there scammers get the #'s in the first place. I never had anyone call my home until I signed up for the national DNC registry. Maybe I should see about removing myself from it. No one seems to do anything about these people calling night and day anyway. So, why would they (scammers/telemarketers) care if we are on the DNC list or not? They aren't getting caught. Why? Because NO ONE CARES!!! Nothing is done about these people and their FAKE numbers....Pppfffftttttttt :p

Called at 2:30 in Reston.  Said hello I a few times and no answer.

Called me in NC - same thing as other posts - no message on machine except one second of background noise then a hangup.

I thoroughly enjoy talking to these people. I do my best to take up as much of their time as possible. Have them repeat at least twice. Ask what the weather is there. And who is getting the contributions. I even go own about my day. If nothing interesting happened, I just make up something. Tell them someone is at the door, hold please. Usually after 20 minutes or so, they give up and never call back....

called and I said hello several times. Finally I hear a man say hello back, and then he hung up on me. Do-not-call list doesn't work very well...
