How do u file with ftc an is it worth it?

just called this company back and was put on hold right away. I am just trying to find out why they are calling me. I do have an idea, but the debts I have are not that old yet. I hate the fact that they call at 8:15pm CDT which means they are calling at 10:15pm EDT. This is crazy what if I had children in bed at that time. I am also wondering how they got my cell number.

We are getting calls from this number also, and when I answer, it's a hang up.  Guess I will file with the FCC too.

The auto dialer was calling for weeks, so I finally answered.  Sometimes you actually get a very nice person. She did identify herself and her company. She asked if I had ever lived at X-address. I said no. She then verified my phone number and said she was going to remove my number and it may take 24 hours for the auto dialer to stop calling. She said she usually asks the address question first to just make things easier to see if she has the right person.  So while debt collector companies are usually low life, there are sometimes 1 or 2 people working there that have a brain and don't just assume every one that answers the phone is a criminal!

This number just called and asked for someone and as i said hold up they hung up on me =/ definitely weird

someone just called asking for me but never explained what the called was for ..i don't know anyone with that number

Not going to answer if I don't know who you are and can't call back if you won't leave a message.  Either calling in the early morning or late at night, never a decent hour.

after months of calls,from 434-533-9028, i too finally answered this # out of curiosity and was asked to hold as all reps were busy, then the system hung up on me. i continue to receive calls from this number, although, i know i have nothing in arrears.

THEY CALL ME TWICE A DAY NOW FOR ABOUT 3 WEEKS. THEY NEVER LET THE PHONE RING LONG ENOUGH FOR ANYONE TO ANSWER, ALTHOUGH I WOULD NOT ANSWER, JUST WISH THEY WOULD STOP CALLING.

I finally answered,  Message says" please hold all representatives are busy"
Finally some guy says, "I'm calling for Adam"
I asked what company he was working with and to take me off of whatever list I was on. He repeatedly asked for Adam. When I asked who he was he said, "This is Cain. Can I just talk to Adam?" "There is no Adam here"

"Well, if you had just said that it would have saved me a lot of time" I know I'll keep getting calls.

I have gotten three calls from this number.  They are looking for the person who had this cell phone number before... Hopefully they will stop calling!

Wont stop callin me

I have been getting these calls too. Because of this they have access to your information. I got identity theft protection. If you don't have none you better get some.  Ill give u guys the number for identity theft within 24 hours. U see I'm not worried I'm going to harrass them just like their doing it to us and see how they like it.... the number I can't trace at all to see actually where. Its coming from. I think they are using a computer to make these calls (like magic jack) so file ur complaints (I'm going to do that tomorrow also). But I'm going to harrass the s*** out of them.. ill keep u updated..

RECEIVABLESPERF came up on caller ID.

They keep calling and calling!  Also from a number 302-394-6839.  Tried getting them to remove my number and did the do not call registry.  I have to wait 30 days to file a complaint.  Meanwhile....they can keep calling and harassing me.

I have gotten these calls too....now that I know who it is, Im going to block them through Sprint...if they are calling on a sprint cell, you can block them through your online account.  It will never even ring to your phone from that number again.

i get a call every morning between 7 and 9 am and again between 3 and 5 pm from this number very annyoing

I got a call from them and was on hold for 5 minutes.  They asked for me by name saying that they were calling about my cell phone bill.  I told them that I had already made payment arrangements with the company.  The girl told me that those arrangements were now void and that she could take a payment from me.  I told her that I would talk to the company before I did anything with her.  She became rude and told me that she was trying to keep the bill from going onto my credit.  Hey, I am not proud, but my credit is already bad so what more could be worse.  I hung up on her and callled the company.  It turns out that they had NOT turned it over to some credit agency.  AND these people called my house phone which the cell phone company DOES NOT have.  I will be reporting them to the BBB.  Nice try debt company, but you really messed up saying that it was from my cell phone company and then you like idiots called my house number.

They are a company that buys old debts from primary or 3rd party collections, do not and i repeat do not pay one dime to them- they are hoping that you do so the debt will be reinstated.  depending on the state you live in they have anywhere from 5y to 7y to collect.  after that this preditory collection company tries to get you to pay.

The call 4 times a day hang up when I answer and never leave a message. Just keep asking for random people who do not live here.

This number calls my cellphone everyday. I am clueless as to how it got my cellphone number. I wish it would stop!!!!!!!

this number call me about 10 times a day sometime they just hang up they wont leave a message and not sure how they got my number i just want them to stop calling sometimes i will get a call at 11:30 at night. I mean that is out of controll.

I have received 4 calls form this number that is unknown to me. They do not say anything and do not leave a message. It is very frustrating.
