it's a harassing debt collector out of Virginia in the US. It is Penn Group Fin. They call about 10x a day  and usually only talk once. Their calls (for me) start at 5 am in the morning. I'm online now trying to stop them from calling so early, but I dont know if the laws that govern them go for where you live or where they are based out of. From what I've been reading, It's looking like they have to abide by the laws of the state the collection agency is based out of, not the state the debtor resides.

Got a call from this number this morning. I answered it and nobody would talk.

I get 10 calls a day from this number.  If I answer it, no one's there.  If I let it go to voicemail, it leaves an 11-second message with nothing but breathing.  If I call the number bcak, it won't go through.  I've received over 40 calls from this number since 7/17.  Calls begin at 5am each day.  If they won't tell me who they are, won't leave me a message, and I can't call them back, it's harassment.  I have filed complaints with the FTC.

I too get calls all the time I too think it is dell but not sure why they are calling me, I have my payments to them taken directly out of my bank account so there is no way I can possibly be behind in any payments to them. I have read other posts where they have threatened someone which is Illegal, and legal action can be taken against a collection agency who does threaten someone, they are also not allowed to use crude, rude or harassing language towards anyone.
I just want the calls to stop, I don't answer them what so ever because it is a waste of my time, I pulled my bank records and every month at the same time the money for my payment has been deducted from my account, so I think that Dell screwed up on their end not me.

they finally stopped calling my house phone now theyre calling my damn cell phone instead!!! literally 10 times a day or more. pentagroup is for dell, but wat are they gonna do, repo my computer?! i dont think so. probably gonna have debt consolidators help me pay off this one. theyre f****n losers and a***oles who are on the other end of the phone.

this company is awful. I guess thats what we get when we transfer all american jobs off seas. You get these no good pieces of crap debt collectors. You try to set something up to work out a pymnt paln and if its not what they want you get treated like Shi* for not having all the money they want. Then they threaten youto pay or ELSE

Same here. They called me every 30 minutes from 0500 to 2300. They never leave a message. Best think to do is let voice mail answer all your calls and disconnect your phone. I us an earthlink phone account which is great because it logs in every call and message.

These people are truly retarted and I'm taking legal action. So right now every call they make is money in my pocket, as in $500.00 per call. They call me sometimes 20 times a day, that is $10,000.00.

An order to stop the calls has been submitted and my legal team guarantees me that they will prevail in court. So keep calling me Pentagroup at $500.00 for every 8 sec message.

This "Pentagroup" (unsure... never asked!) has been calling me 4 - 6 times a day asking for Alicia.. only problem is I don't know an Alicia. Everytime they call I tell them I have no idea who Alicia is and to not call again and guess what class?? They call me again!!! It's actually become quite frustrating because I work 3rd shift and like to sleep in the morning then I have these f***ers callin me nonstop. I would turn off my phone but I got kids and need to keep it on in case of emergencies.

On two occasions I requested to speak to a manager and asked him to remove me from the calling list. I suggested to the manager that logic would state if my name were Alicia I would have a va**na instead of a p***s and my voice would be much higher. The manager seemed to understand and assured me there would be no more calls. Of course within the hour I had another call... I was a tad furious.

I'm waiting for Monday to come when I get that phone call from Pentagroup... and then... !

I receive calls from this number and 4 other number. They call from 6:am
to 11 pm at night. I did finaly got hold of a person from company pentigruop.The person I talk to was Melissa. She was rude told me she can do what ever she like. Melissa also state she will make sure company call more. Now we get message from company say hey bum or you no good bum
and ect.

they call me non stop, i have a direct deposit with Dell, my payment is $35.00 a month, so i pay $75.00 a month, (i wanted them paid off fast)now, they did something and changed my interest rate UP HIGHER than what it is suppose to be so high, my mothly payment jumped to $125 a month. and they want all the back pay with this new higher interest payment, I was never late on a payment, and still had time on the loan. and for them to do that is F*@k'd UP, so now i will pay only whats needed to pay and foget all this extra charges they want to add. I wont even answer the cell anymore.

YUP.. dell collection agency, not sure if they are exclusive to dell.. but my unpaid bill is with dell.. They call me 10 + times a day, starting at 5:11am on the dot every morning, and sometimes i do pick up and talk to them, have a long pleasant convo. They really need to stop calling so early, i have pictures of them and call logs of them calling at 5, 6, 7 am multiple times and daily! hahah i think it's funny, but now i'm on a witch hunt. Might be gettin that dell bill paid afterall.

called regarding a supposed debt for someone else who lives at this address.  requested something in writing..was told that could not be done.

Called every 15 minutes for about 2 hrs in the morning, comes up on ID as Chase City, VA. Not positive but I think Pentagroup is a collection agency for Dell and possbly other companies.

Same here - several calls a day - no caller id - voicemail is totally garbled.  I'm sure its an automated call waiting for someone to answer..I have no idea who they are

I receive calls constantly from this number...they leave a voicemail but its all garbled...like possibly an automated dialed call....no message... I have no idea who they are.
