Their website is   http://www.maritzresearch.com/.  I went to their site and cruised all the tabs, clicked on a lot of links, there is a ton of information, but no contact info of any kind that I could find.    Maybe it's buried deep, deep down somewhere on the site.  Anyhow I blocked their numbers with my phone company.

I just got a call at 8:45PM and I didn't answer.  I am assuming from other posts it must be Enterprise since I just returned a rental from them.  If this is truly them and they see this post, they need to understand that I will never answer the phone for a marketing company.  And, I am going to think twice before I rent from them again.  I will fill out an email, but not answer the phone.

I added this number to a list of my own numbers. Two can play this game. So now I call the numbers back and block my number and instead enter one of the telemarketers on my lists. Let them all be stuck in telemarket hell.

yup.  Returned a car at alamo Sunday and recived a call from this number - no message on Monday night at 7:45pm.  Looks like I know who called now.  In the future I really need to read the fine print on contracts to ensure that they include language prohibitting the sale or sharing of my phone number.

It has to be friggin Enterprise!! I just checked a box stating I want to receive offers via e-mail only (NO partner calls) after renting from them Monday/Tuesday and then started receiving calls after 6pm on Thursday and Friday! I have rented from them SEVERAL times in the past and NEVER got calls until I checked off the box to be a "member".

Here in New England, I also rented a car for Wednesday, got a follow up phonecall the following evening from this same number.

Perhaps good follow-up customer service?  It was at 5:30pm, not 7:30 during prime dinner time. I would have answered it and probably given a decent response.

my husband is doing a survey with them they mailed him 12 packs of cigarettes to try then report back to them on what he like and dislike about the cigarettes and he gets a $25 check mailed to him when he completes the survey with them over the phone,on line, or by mail. my husband has already done one with them which was menthol cigs. now he is trying their non menthol so yes they did mail him the check but they do not stop calling its all day and it was that way before my husband even spoke to them, they actually hung up on us a few times before he finally got spoke to someone
but i just wanted to let you know who they were and they probably do all kinds of surveys not just on cigarettes and its totally free and you do get paid but the calls will not stop

Glad I checked this after not taking the call.  I rented a car in LA a few days ago through Enterprise and then got this call.  Looks like others had the same experience.  I'm assuming if you call back then they are going to call you back again, so I would advise not to call back.  Stupid marketing research.

I work at Enterprise Rent A Car. This is a third party company (NOT A TELEMARKETER) that surveys customer satisfaction after you have rented a car (and probably does surveys for other companies/industries as well). The "do not call list" has nothing to do with this company as they are not a telemarketer. They dont want anything from you, besides your answer to a survey if you are willing to take it.
As far as Enterprise/National/Alamo is concerned, employees actually get graded seriously on how you respond to these surveys. They are quick 3-5 questions, and they call the number you gave the rental branch when you rented the car.
Again- they are not a telemarketer, they will not call you to try to sell you anything, not do they know anything about you except that you rented a car. And just about every company has something like this. For Enterprise, they only call like 20-30 customers each month at random. It gives us an accurate reading of how our true customer service was for the rental experience. If being called to try to improve our customer service really offends you-- then call the number back, after you listen for a minute or so as they explain who they are, they will tell you how to block your number.
It means a lot to the branch that you were completely satisfied with the service, so if you were satisfied--tell them so. If you werent, call the branch and tell them, and they will be more than happy to try to compensate you and make up for it. The customer service index is a HUGE motivator for success, and they'll do whatever it takes-- and they really want you to answer "Completely Satisfied".

I just received a call from that number and I just let it ring and yes, I recently rented from Enterprise.  Unsolicited phone calls from any business is annoying unless I'm being told that I really won something no strings attached.  Honestly, I don't think I'm much different than anyone else when it comes to surveys.  If I take a class, I have to fill out a survey about the instructor.  When I stay at a hotel, I'm sent a survey on email to fill out about the hotel.  There is a survey in the room of the hotel.  There are survey's in the resturants, at work, everywhere.  I'm just tired of them.  Trust me if I didn't have a good experience at a place of business I wouldn't be a repeat customer.  Maybe these companies and other places of business should focus on those customers that don't return or ask at the time of service rather than afterwards.  Be creative but don't waste our time.  After a rental, I really don't care to hear from Enterprise again until: 1. I'm ready to rent again, 2. I left something in the vehicle, 3.  You really care about me as a person and just wanted to check up on me to see how I was doing. :-D

Same story....rented from enterprise last week.  Recieved call without message tonight at 8:30 pm.  Had to *69. We do not have caller ID and didn't answer the phone on time.  People have to pay to *69.

Suggestion to Enterprise: Send a survey by email or ask the customer to complete a survey upon return of the vehicle. Calling people on their private phones and not being courteous enough to identify yourself on an answering machine is not an appropriate manner of guaging customer satisfaction.
