@ 8;25 PST I got a phone call from this guy (Samuel Bishop,Indian accent) Approved grant # WA11724758. For the next 6 months I was gonna collect $4,300 and  every month after I was to collect $2,100.For a fee of $3.87 "government fee". He claimed he worked for the government at governmentgrants.us and that I used one of my e-mail addresses back in May to sign up....I just created this e-mail a couple weeks ago. I called governmentgrants.us and they never heard of me, and told me I had never applied for a grant as I told this scammer guy. Samuel Bishop started asking me if I were employed or unemployed, I told him UN-employed so I can't pay your $3.87 even if I wanted too, and he started making fun of me laughing and telling me "everyone has atleast $3.87 in their account and you don't."

This guy called my number 5 times in a span of 2 hours.  I didn't answer because I don't know anyone in Utah. I called back & it kept ringing & ringing & ringing.  This number called AGAIN, I answered & they hung up. They called again 30 minutes later & FINALLY someone was on the line and claimed that I dropped my wallet. Seriously WTF?! I asked him what kind of a scam this was and he hung up on me.  Crazy stuff!

They have called me 5 times in less than 24 hrs. I am on a do not call list told them that and they still call

I have been getting many calls from this number 435-201-5617, I never answered until yesterday, A man with a thick indian accent said I was eligible for a grant. that I applied for online. I told him I never filled out any forms. He said fu#& you. I gave the phone to my husband, and my husband said we never filled out any grant forms, the man said fuc# you and fuc# your wife. My husband told him where to get off (so to speak) and hung up on the idiot. There has to be something we can do about these nasty scam artists--is there?

Got a call on Tuesday July 9--ask him what the Hell did he want and then hung up. Today got another call,
July 10 at &:07 P.M. Was busy and could not answer, but did not call back after reading all the comments from others.
I asked to have this number blocked from my cell---where did he get my cell #??

Got called by this guy, thick Indian accent claiming he was from the government and wanted 3.87 for the application fee. Asked if he was from FAFSA and he just went in circles with me insisting that I pay and give him my credit card number for the application and that if I hung up I'd never be able to get a US government grant again. That's not how FAFSA has EVER worked in the past, that's not how it will EVER work. Hang up.

got a call from here to a hangup

This number has been calling my cell up to 6 times a day, even into the late evening! I don't answer it. When I try to call Back it says that the phone does not accept calls from mobiles?! It is very annoying,  I will answer next time and give him a fake credit card number :-/

I got this call several times today. I don't answer any numbers I do not know, I figure if it is important they will leave me a message. They can call as many times as they like and keep on talking to my ansering service. love the whistle idea lmao.

I received a call from an Indian sounding man saying that I had asked for money from the government and they were giving out grants but to make sure I had a better chance to get the money this federal group could help me fill out the form correctly.  I only needed to send in $3.87 to get on their computer system.  I told him that I didn't have a credit card but I could send a check.  All I needed was an address to send it to.  This went on for 10 minutes with him saying he could not take a check but only a credit card.  How stupid do they think we are???

This guy is very persistent. I got 6 calls fr this number 435-201-5617!!! I ignored calls but after so many times, i answered but didnt say anything. He kept saying hello n when i didnt respond he hung up. Afterwards more calls but would ring one or two times and hang up. Very annoying!!!!! Rrrrrrr!

Got a call from this number saying that I had applied for free government money.  I said "sure, send me a couple million bucks" and then silence from the other end so I hung up.  just gotta be a scam.

This number called me three times in the last 2 days. I told the person I never filled out any papers for any grant,and not to call again. But I guess he can't under stand English, because the dumb a** called again this time I blew a whistle in the phone. I hope I blow his ear out. Next time he calls I'm going to use an air horn.

Got a call from this number. The man told me I would be receiving money through a government grant. When I told him I did not fill out any for and asked how he got my number he proceed to tell me about what he had for dinner the night before, and then coffee, and then had sex with his girlfriend, then he went to sleep and three hours in God came to him and gave him my number. I asked to speak to the supervisor, I told him what his employee had just told me, and he asked about the details about the sex they had. This is a scam.

I have received multiple phone calls from this number when I pick up they hang up also when I try calling back the phone just rings and rings. it is very frustrating!

Yesterday I got a call from 435-201-5617 claiming I was approved for a government grant. Told the guy I did not apply for any grants and hung up. Today got another call from the same number, couldn't hear the person very well, told them to speakup and they didn't say anything more. Hung up on them.

This number has called my WORK cellphone (yes, it is in the Do Not Call list), but when I answer, they have already hung up. When I attempted to call back I get a UK accent message "The person at extension 9862583 is unavailable".  

Isn't it illegal to call a number without intention of completing the call?  GET A CLUE - STOP CALLING!

A man with a thick Indian accent called to claim that due to a form I filled out months ago I was going to receive a free government grant.  He really oversold the "fact" that I would never have to pay it back.  All I needed to do was to give him my cc# to cover the $3.87 processing fee.

When the phone rings (my cell), no one responds when I pick up. An automated voice, says, "we're sorry". When I dialed back, the phone just rings and rings.  Seriously, what is the point?
