A caller for Economist magazine falsely said I failed to renew my subscription to Economist magazine, but I last had it more than 10 years ago.  It was anything to start a conversation.  When I requested him to remove me from their list, he promptly hanged up on me.

I got a call today from someone named Kevin he said that that had got my subscription for golf mag and i had forgot to send a check, i said i had never subscribed for that mag so he hung up, also a few months ago some man called and told me that i had ordered us mag and i needed to pay for it, i told him i had not ordered it, then he said well you need to donate to help battered women, i told him i was not interested he started saying whats wrong with you you don't want to help women, so i just hung up

Appears as a missed call on my phone at work.

I got a call saying my golf magazine was renewed and I forgot to include the check and I could give them an echeck over the phone. I asked her if she thought I was born yesterday and that no way would I give any such thing over the phone to someone or something that I had no idea about and frankly tld her she was part of a scam. She hung uo.

teen age female called to say that my Economist subscription has expired and that she would renew it for me. I do not subscribe to this publication.
