Someone claiming to be from the county fire association. I am a member of the local fire department and there is no county fire association with that name. DO NOT GIVE MONEY TO THESE INDIVIDUALS as they are a scam.

they called me in Texas. Why would I support the Odgen UT fire department? And, if as reported calling from Denver, why disguise your caller ID number, unless this was a scam.

I told the guy that I read some stuff on the internet about them being a scam and expected a hang up but he didn't. He said he was calling from Denver and that the 435 number showed up so that it would seem like a local (Utah) call. He wanted a donation to Ogden Fire Department and wanted to give me tickets to the E-center for some dancing horses thing for my donation. very polite, but did not give $$$$.

Got a call from this number and there was nobody on the line. called back and call would not go through when I called back. Weird.

Called and asked for the owner or general manager at the business. Said he would call back later.
