"Saving your home" automated message on cellphone.

Recorded message said they had a great deal on satellite service.  When I called back to see who the company was, the number was not in service.

received a call from 425-402-0338 a fake no return # american mitigation group,inc in calif. a jason from this ca. called me at 6;23 thur eve with a return contact # of 888-264-9922 who was trying to sell a mortgage protection etc. after i got his return # i told him that we are on the do not call list and warned him that they have called us many time and to stop harrasing us ( he said f-you and hung up on me.

On 11-23-2008 I filled out the FCC complaint form at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm.  Today I received a response by mail, so I guess either a person or a machine actually checked my complaint. The response said that their investigation did not indicate there was a violation, but they did not state the reason.  My cell phone is a business phone, and reading the fine print it looks like the law doesn't apply to business phones.  Maybe if some folks who received the call on their personal phones would fill out the complaint, the FCC might actually do something about it.

Received a missed call on my cell phone, 435-472-2115 was the number that appeared.

Got a call from them on my AT&T cell phone as well.  I didn't pick up and found this on google.

To answer BMWJ, I haven't used Craigslist so I don't think that could be the source.

I received an equally mysterious spam call from 503 864 3213 on Monday, but before then I'd never gotten any on my cell phone.  Did anyone else get a call from them too?  I'm guessing it might be the same group.

Offered "digital satellite TV service".  When I pressed "1" and asked how they got my number, they hung up.

I got a call just now at 1:23 eastern time.  didn't pick up and googled came here.  I have At&T and drive an acura.  I'm sure we all have something in common because we are all on the same list.  Whoever it is that gets the calls.  Does anyone own an apple or gave their number to apple store recently?

recieved a call from this number Nov. 2 at 4:50pm. Did  not answer but thought it was fishy that I recieved a call with this area code, so I googled the number and found this.I havea vrizon phone and have no idea how they got all of our numbers.

Has any of the people on this list used Craigs list and sent your phone number to a prospective buyer? This is the only that I can of that I have issued my phone number out to prospective buyers of what I have listed on Craigs list.

I got this call about 45 min ago on cell phone. didnt answer, then tried google and came to this website

Just answered the call and heard the 'Cable offer' recorded message and hung up. At&T service (signed up with cingular once upon a time).

Googled number and found all of these comments.

Received a call from this number on my t-mobile cellphone, didn't recognize the number, so I didn't pick up.

Looked up the number on Google and found this page.
Google's listing for this number is a 'Brian D. Russel'.

Funny enough, I know someone named that, but I'm pretty sure he isn't a prerecorded message robot trying to sell me satellite service.

I only got half of that message, because it started playing its recording when my phone service told them I wasn't available.

Called 7:00 PM MST Nov. 24 2008.  "Janelle" from American Mitigation Group, Inc. (registered corporation in the State of California), whose callback number is 1-888-264-9922, ext. 125.  Jason is the supervisor at ext. 120; he and the rest of his crew are either monumentally ignorant of FCC administrative law pertaining to telemarketing, or they want to pay me some money real bad.  

Company willfully and actively violates the Telephone Consumer Protection Act by (A) failing to provide correct identifying information (Janelle said she represented Mortgage Assistance LLC, a non-existent company) and falsifying or spoofing Caller ID; (2) failure to issue by mail a Do Not Call Policy upon demand.  AMG will be taken to court on this call in the Bernalillo Co. Metro Court, NM, for damages of $500 (for the call itself) and $700 (for "willful and deliberate" misconduct as defined in 27 CFR).  I'll update on the case or settlement...

Phone rang, no one answered.  When I called the number I got a recording saying the number was disconnected.  I put the number in the Google reverse phone directory and got a message that said  "Brian D Russell (435) 472-2115 4989 N Highway 6,Helper, UT 84526".  Does anyone know this rude turkey? Maybe if all of us  on this complaint page would send him a letter, he would stop.

My phone rang, when I answered there was no one on the line.  When I called the number back, I got a recording saying the number was no longer in use.

I keep getting  a canned call from a Brian D Russell.  Something about a mortgage.  I tried to call back to stop the calls, only to find that using this return number gives a not in service.  Looking it up on the internet it states Brian D. Russell, 4989 H. Highway 6, Helper, UT 84526

This needs to be stopped!

This is the second time I've received an unknown call on my CELL...I know better than to answer thanks to these websites. Mr. "so-called Russel" called me yesterday.
