The real person said they were from the Auto Insurance Placement Center.

They are called "Auto Insurance Placement Center".
They mislead by saying "We are calling from the DMV..."

Never ever answer or push 1,3 or what ever number they are using.. this only verifys they have a live number and they will call repeatedly. As soon as its possible, pick up and hang up.. if you need to, blow a live whistle on them or use a boat fog hone..
Everyone should know and use common sense here, you can shop around on your own for auto insurance. You don't need some outfit that claims the "DMV notified them" (scam) that your paying too much for it.. And I highly doubt they did.. I'm sure DMV has better things to do beside notify some person in timbucktoo,419 nigeria St., Africa that so and so is paying too much,lol!

Answered the number because it was a local area code. Robo message said the DMV told them I was paying too much for auto insurance. It said to push 1 to speak to someone. I pushed 1. The first guy I got was named Edward and said the company is "Insurance Placement Center". When I asked more, he hung up. I called the number back. Miraculously it was a good number. The robo-answer said the name again. Then a representative named Danielle answered. She was fairly nice, and didn't hang up. She seemed to be someone working at a call center who didn't work for that company specifically as she didn't know much.

I once lived in Brigham city ut but I haven't lived there got 5 and a half years and I have been Drivin for a year now and had nothin to deal with Brigham DMVs I wonder how they got my number

Call several times a week about auto insurance. only automated voice then push 1 for English. once i talk to someone and ask for a name, they usually hang up! Jurkovfs!! threatened PERSONAL legal action and still get calls.....QUIT CALLING me and go get an education so you can get more than a $5.25/hr job!!!! LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!! 435-538-3923

The first place is with the Utah Attorney General's Office since they are impersonating a government agency. No DMV in any state gives two hoots about how much you pay for auto insurance only that you have it. The second is the DNC website to file a complaint and then one with Utah if they have their own DNC laws.

Who is responsible for making these automated phone calls to my business cell phone anyway? JERKS!
