This number has been calling me constantly.  Today I picked up the phone & usually there is no one there....today I just started talking (screaming really)  and told them "Do not call me again and take my name off your list.  If you call me again I am going to take legal action ...do you understand!!!."...I was surprised to hear a women say "yes mam."  Let's see if it works!

Some one claiming to be from Hawaii called at 8:45 pm to "take a survey that will last several minutes". My 86 year old mother hung up on them (go mom!).

this number has shown to have called several times.  I answered today and the woman did not identify herself and said she was not trying to sell anything, but asked if I would take a survey for marketing and I said "no".  End of call.

called around 7pm. no message. i called back and an autoreply said "Enter your password, followed by the pound key." I have no idea who called from this number or what password they want.

some lady calling to "speak to whoever takes care of your copier and printer supplies".
Which is another way of saying "I am a telemarketer calling".
Disconnected - I don't even waste any time with these callers.
This is an Outpatient Health Clinic and we certainly don't have the time to waste on such totally unnecessary calls.

rec'd calls on April 3,6,10.and 12 from 435-687-2523 but did not pick up.  I answered the call on April 14, lady answered and said that she "was not selling anything," doing a survey of some kind.  I told her I was on a Do Not Call list to which she responded, "We're not selling anything so that does not apply to us."  I told her good-by and hung up.  Hope that is the end of her.

I love Ben S.'s idea with the air horn!  But it might waste more of their time if you just quietly lay the receiver down and walk away.  It might take them some time to figure out that they were not going to talk to anybody.  Clearly our government watchdogs are asleep on the job since people have been complaining here about these probable phishers since 2007.

calls from 435-687-2523 and when reply just hangs

Hey Folks,

Turn these obnoxious and annoying calls into a bit of fun for yourself. Buy a hand held air horn like the ones used on bass and ski boats for distress signals. Mine was less than $20 and is worth every penny. After giving a blast to someones ear you usually don't have to ask to be taken off their calling list.

Obviously random dialed. We created a number in our telco switchroom for testing purposes only. There is no phone attached, but our records show that it has received calls from 425-687-2523. Our number that they are calling has never been listed or used for outgoing calls. So we just got rid of it.

Hung up when I answered.  I am on Do Not Call List, but clearly that means nothing.

Got a call from this number and when I answered the phone no one spoke so I hung up.  Am on all the do not call registry as well.

By the way, the national do not call list does not apply to us, because we are not telemarketers.

San Rafael Research is a survey company. They are employed by random corporate companies to take surveys (they are NOT allowed to know who the company is that they're working for) it changes monthly. I know, because I work there. Let me remind all of you that these are just other people that have jobs to provide for their families there's no need to get angry over the phone at people who are just trying to go to work, and do their jobs. There calling agents that can be rude, and that IS indeed unacceptable, but for those who show no hostility, don't be an a***ole to them. thank you.

They called us at 9:20 PM and it came thru as Not Available.  In addition to ignoring the "Do Not Call" list, they are violating the law by calling after 9:00.  Maybe it is 8:20 in Utah, but it is 9:20 in Texas.  How do we stop these idiots from calling???

The caller stated that this was the "National Alliance" and she said that she wasn't selling anything. I asked her what the hell she wanted then and why was she calling my number, and I too am on the National Do Not Call List?? Her response was, "Uh, Uh", mine was f*** off and stop calling me!!

Got a call from them at 9:13 pm, which is in violation of the law, even if my number is not on all the do-not-call lists.  Caller ID said "Not Available" but with the number 435-687-2523.  I picked up but said nothing.  I could hear background noise of some woman talking, and the caller seemed to be a man.  Once he realized that I had picked up the phone and was listening on him, he hung up.

Received a call from this number and when I answered a male voice asked "Is this (my name)" and hung up. Creepy.

Received call on my landline but they left no answer.  I have blocked the number on my phone.

Just received about the 8th call from this number... thanks to a previous post, I got the name and main number for this company....San Rafael Research,  170 W 400 North, Huntington, UT 84528.   Main ph number 435-687-9443.   The number showing on the caller ID is a Fax number so naturally, no one can reach them on a return call.  I did reach them and requested my number be deleted from their call list.

I don't know if this is true for this number or not, but I've heard that prisoners handle surveys done by mail. Who knows, they may be the ones who make phone calls too.

Called by a female looking for "person responsible for ink and toner purchases"  I asked for contact information and she chuckled and said she had no contact number.  I held her on the line to fish her for more information.  She did indicate she was calling from "Information Alliance" which turned out to be a marketing research firm based out of Portland, OR.   Told her to have a good day and hung up
