Got a call today from Michael Stuart, VP of Global International Sweepstakes. Claimed that I entered in November 2012. Phone number: 438-402-0135. Claimed I was 2nd place winner and will receive $80,000. In order to deliver it, they would need a check for $8000 for security. But assured that check would be for assurance purposes and not actually cashed.
I said it seemed like a scam and wondered if I could call back or if there was a website. No website. Offered 438-402-0135 for call-back. Given a password "blue" to give

I received a call from 438-402-0135 trying out the $800k scam. This needs to be reported so the scammers can be stopped.

My 85 year old mother is scared to death because these jerks keep calling her. I hope someone finds a way to put them in jail. At least the phone company could cut off their service for life.

I recieved a letter from Prize Report Center(P.O. Box 9105, Plainview, NY 11803 -9005) stating that I was being advised of an 8K win opportunity with an 4K upgrade. I responded to the letter and on friday April 6, 2012, I recieved a phone call from(438) 402- 0135 stating I had won. I was ask had anyone call me yet. then I was ask did I want the 8K mailed or would I prefer to pick up my check. When I stated I would pick up the check, they hung up on me. On monday April 2 2012 I also recieved a call from (404)935-7655 stating that I had won 5K and was ask did I pay a mortage.These people are nothing more than ripe off scrammers who take advantage of others. Let's pray for them. Beware they use different Sweepstakes names to.

Someone calling himself Michael Stewart called saying he was Pres of ASP and that my mom had won 800K. He said Donald Baker would handle the arrangements for delivery of the $. (Stewart has the same number as Baker: 438 402 0135.) Baker asked that the check be made out to him and mailed to Devon McIntyre at 604 South 6th Ave, Mount Vernon NY 10550.
About 2 weeks later, and daily phone calls, she was told that the prize had gone up to 8 million. The 8K (that was orginally asked for as act of good faith) was going to be paid to insure the $ in transit; after the winnings increased, we were told that it couldn't be delivered without paying a luxury tax of 10%, 800K. They then said later that if we couldn't pay the tax, we should pay what we could and they'd pay the balance through sponsorships.
Be wary!
