My grandma received a call today from someone stating her granddaughter (they even had the name of the granddaughter) was in jail in Canada. They said she was in a car with 5 other people when they were pulled over, there were drugs found but the granddaughter was cleared. They said my grandma just needed to send $575 to someone named LeAnn Lajoie. My grandmother was hysterical because she thought her granddaughter was in trouble. She called my mom and got the situation handled. What a HORRIBLE thing for someone to do. I hope these despicable people are caught and put in jail ASAP!

My friends grandmother got a call saying my friend was in jail in Quebec, I called the number and they didn't answer it kept ringing. They called back from a blocked number and supposedly it was from probation there to get bail from some a lady they had there. I yelled at her and told her to leave my grandma alone and they will get no info from me. They tried to ask for my friends grandmas name and they still tried to get info I just hung up. Be aware and back up someone's story if you don't know the person who is calling don't just trust their word.
