This number called several times in one day on my on call phone for a business. Everytime I answered there was no response just dead air. I finally stopped answering the phone.

I don't know who they are but they called at 4:40am!  If I wasn't worried about waking up the wife I would have given them the air horn I keep for telemarketers.  I hope that call back so I can teach them a lesson.

Caller from this number made several attempts to call me--twice in the wee hours of the morning in my time zone and once during "normal" business hours. When I took the call, a person with a very thick foreign accent asked if I had some type of insurance. I say "some type" because I could not understand the caller because of a bad connection and the accent. I asked that they take me off their call list because they were clearly a nuisance.

The have been getting creative, using several different numbers now.  I just signed up for call blocking on ATT website.  Will have it on for a while.

They are trying to get my information. Scam artists.

This number keeps calling me but I won't answer. This is ridiculous. What can be done to stop them

For the past 4 days I've been getting calls from this number... they never live a message... after what I read in this blog, I am reallu scared.... how much do they know about me...

They have been calling for the past4 days. I don't know how to stop them, I have called them back from a different # and it sayd the call cannot go thru... scarry.... I wonder how much they know about me ...

caller said he is Steve from (garble garble) insurance network - sounds like he has a Russian accent - I told him I didn't have time to talk and said goodnight.  But that wasn't the end of it - this number and also 771-331-0505 ("name unavailable" on caller ID) have not stopped calling day or night.  I tried to block them but they are not valid numbers according to my phone company or the FTC.

I don't know who is calling, but they are persistent and the number doesn't go through when you call it back

I got calls from the SAME GUY with the SAME NAME from this and another area code. They are spoofing numbers and repeatedly calling. The first time he told me he was from an insurance company. I didn't let him get that far the second time.

I am going to call my cell phone carrier and tell them that I want it taken care of immediately.

Since the area codes are invalid and you can't report to the FCC what can you really do?

They called and no one was there.  Next another call came in from 771-331-0505 and they spoke another language and i told them to stop calling me!!!

they just called twice and I answered the second time. A guy with a heavy Indian accent said something about a car loan, this was the fifth call today from numbers I did not recognize (and didn't answer). This is after receiving a series of txt messages fom 778-03, 761-04, 494-31 and 550-94 yesterday and oday with some BS about PIN numbers, approvals, $500 cash awards, etc. I wish there was the dead penalty for this kind of activity.

They have been calling me every two hours since 8 o'clock this morning. I called the number and put it on speaker so everyone could listen to them. The number doesn't work. This is getting very annoying.

I've gotten 7 calls from them today, once every hour.  The first 3 were from a restricted #, the others were from 439-673-6148.  They always ask for the same name (if they answer) and it's not me.  The first time they said they were from a payday loan place. The first two times I told them to take me off their list, the 3rd time they said I was approved for an auto loan. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they hung up on me. I haven't been answering lately, but it's getting really annoying. I am going to report this to the FCC also.

Received calls from 665-842-6077 -AND- 439-673-6148 -AND- 552-473-3105 -- all appear to be aliases, all appear to try to peddle "payday loans" or such, and unfortunately it sounds like they're originating from off-shore.  

Who do you contact to have them blocked/investigated?!

Just received my third call today from this group. I tend not to answer when I do not recognize the number. Each call I received today I typed the number into google and was brought to this site. How can I stop them from calling me?

they just called me 3 times today and its only 2pm.. i didn't pick up the first two times and the third time i picked up and waited to see who would respond. A lady said hello then hung up. I, ofcourse tried to call them back and their number is blocked.

now that i see its a scam i wont pick up!

I am getting the same calls do not answer  them but they call about 3 times a day. How can they be  blocked?

Just received the same call from 438-673-6148 with an guy with an indian accent saying I was approved for a car loan when I had applied for anything.   How can you stop these calls?

This number just keeps calling and keeps calling - I do not answer it, but it is getting annoying.  I didn't get a cell phone to play games with companies like this.  Why can't anything be private these days.  If I don't give out my number I should be able to answer it everytime knowing it will be someone I know - but NO!   Quit calling!

OK the people who answer sound MEXICAN i dont think they can speak english very well the guy said his name was JAMES and there was gay music playing in the background!!!!! then he said your auto report has been acepted!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT THE FIRETRUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For the past three(3) days, calls from this number have been appearing on my home phone pad. The first call I answered...the male voice said I heard you wanted to buy a used car...I hung the phone up.
