They call me twice a day. I finally called back and it said it's Verde Energy, and press one if you want to be on their do not call list. So that's exactly what I did.

Seems strange to me that these telemarketers are excused from the regulations of the National Do Not Call List. I can't imagine why they would even call me, as I do not pay utilities, they are included. Even more curious about how they got my phone number.

It's Verde Energy. They are calling because of electricity deregulation and want you to sign up with them to have them be your third-party supplier. Depending on who your electricity company currently is and if you use a third party supplier or not, they may actually be able to save you some money on your electric bill. I googled them while I had them on the line and it seems legit.

called it back, it is a marketing call if you call them back you can press 1 and be put on their do not call list. I THINK IT A CRAP THAT I HAVE TO CALL PEOPLE AND HAVE THEM PUT ME ON THEIR DO NOT CALL LIST WHEN I AM ON THE NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST
