I just received the same email from pcs/Linda and I too don't like the fact they have my phone number and address. These scammers are having a field day,
WC 2011-06-06 20:49:16 Unknown
Received the same exact email as the ones posted on here. I guess it happens to people with resumes on both HotJobs and Monster since they've merged.
I was immediately suspicious of the email since I didn't have any "missed calls" on the Friday that "Linda" said she called me and the email has some grammar errors such as "partners" instead of "partner's" or "partners". I also find it hard to believe that she wasn't able to find anyone else but me in my city since I live in a huge city with close to a million people.
So sad for these people to be preying on the unemployed when they are at their most vulnerable state.

Funny, Marsha gave herself the same last name as me - wonder if she does that with everyone?
Ruby 2011-06-06 20:49:16 Unknown

Marsha 2011-06-06 20:49:16 Unknown

More than likely you have your resume posted on line maybe on Monster.com or Careerbuilders.com. That is where the same scammer found me. For your protection, never post a resume with your address on line. I omit the address.. I list a contact phone# and city and state only. Be careful you never know who can access your information.
Nicole L 2011-06-06 20:49:16 Unknown
I got the same mssg, with my same last name. Idiots.
Ron Chron 2011-06-06 20:49:16 Unknown
I received the E-Mail also - after Yahoo Hotjobs / Monster merge:
I did not click on the link - dangerous.
Glad this site is here.
Thanks whocallsme

I got the email and keep getting calls who hang up. The email was from Marsha.
barb 2011-06-06 20:49:16 Unknown
yes she does!!!!....she just sent a email to me at like 3:00am!!! I'm like who does that at this time of the morning. I don't think how on earth these people don't realize how stupid they really are. Who actually asks to set-up interview by email???......Ms. Marsha>>>>>>>>>>>>GO SIT THE F*** DOWN!!!!!!!!
:-(
Mister S 2011-06-06 20:49:16 Unknown
Who are these people?? What do they want from me?
AHinck 2011-03-25 20:46:07 Unknown
Yeah, got the email too. The last name of the person that contacted me is the same as my last name, and the web site is pretty fishy...the site is named "career center" and is powered by "feedzilla". When I attempt to leave the web site I get a pop-up that says "wait, don't go yet.... if you want more ifnormation about our company before you fill out your personal information..." I also just updated my account with Monster.com, so that must be where this is comming from.

Same junk email as a reply here and web site was http://jcp-partners.com.
Scammers
Rikk 2011-03-23 08:09:39 Unknown
Same here she or it used my last name and contacted me as well.
they are a fail
rayray 2011-03-22 22:25:11 Unknown
I got the email today... it just didnt look professional enough. If a company is interested in you, they will more than likely call you. If not they will send you an email saying thank you, but not interest (for a lack of better words). I knew it was a scam. I always google companies when they email me. Especially if its via email or I have never heard or applied to them. smh.... im kind of mad now. trusting monster to have my email and resume on there. im going to take my resume off right now and apply to jobs ive heard of directly threw their site.

I just got a message that told me to check out their website "thepaulrossgroup.com," but because the person that e-mailed me had the EXACT SAME last name as me, I googled it first and sure enough - SCAM! My last name is hyphenated and is NOT very common. So, that's what made me suspicious. This came from having posted my resume on a job search engine....
Jane Doe 2011-03-21 23:33:05 Unknown
Below is teh email scam I receved tonight. I changed my name and email to Jane Doe to protect my privacy, but you get the idea. These @sses, use the same last name as teh victim to gain trust. I have a unique last name, so I suspected a scam. I Googled this "agency" and saw nothing but trouble.
Why don't places like this get shut down?

I got the call and when I called the number it said it is never answered live. It referred me to airpcs.com.
B*****ds.
It's amazing how marsha and linda's last names match ours...
Naomi 2011-03-21 07:09:44 Unknown
Yep, I got the same call from Tina, who had my last name as well. I Googled the company after going to the site and not being able to navigate until I entered my contact information, which I didn't do. I'm glad this site came up on Google. And like many others, it happened after I posted my resume to Monster.com.

Email from Paul Ross Group from Linda Moore. I googled it immediately and found out this was a scam. Beware People!!
Tony 2011-03-21 03:15:57 Unknown
Nothing much to add, but the same thing recently happened to me. Hopefully no one is falling victim to this. All of the experiences everyone else had are pretty much the same for me.
D-slc 2011-03-21 02:14:41 Unknown
I got one also. The email was from ip 174.36.125.82. If you put it in your web browser is will take you to a default cPanel page. This usually means that the host has been hijacked (cPanel is easy to hack). The host is owned by SoftLayer Technologies. I will contact them. I suggest everyone does the same.

Man..... that Marsha gets around.....you guess it....in my message she or (it) was Marsha Rodriguez.
Yesterday I updated my resume in Monster. Those 5 seconds researching who send these vogus e-mails are always worth it.
Audra 2011-03-20 15:03:24 Unknown
Same here. Marsha is stupid. We're smart. Yay!
