text message from this number: "Call me its an emergency a member of your family had a car accident in [town, state].  They are very injured call me now ?"  The town they mentioned is where my phone is regisered; nobody in my family lives or travels there.  I asked who was injured, no response.  fishing.

My daughter got a call saying her brother had been kidnapped. He is fine and nothing is going on.

someone just test us that someone in our family was  horribly hurt nearby and to  call them right away...What a horrible note to receive   Total HoaX..IF I COULD FIND THE IDIOT WHO DID THIS TO US I WOULD FIND A WAY TO STRANGLE THEM!!1

Just happened to me also I was at the Western Union when I talked to myself and ensured his safety!! Who does s*** like this forreal!!!

Got a call from this number this morning saying one of my family members was injured badly in a car accident & to call
the number 440 344 3562.  I called, a man answered & said did I have a family member in a certain part of NJ that had just been in a bad car accident when I told him I didn't, he kept saying are you sure, when I said no again, he cursed at me using
bad language & hung up.

just happened to me dam ppl just gave me a hart attack

this just happened to me they yelled at me......I called Gloucester township police.

My son received a text and a call from this number saying a member of our family was injured in a car crash.
They mentioned our town in the text which they can easily research by looking up his number.  DO NOT TEXT BACK OR CALL THEM BACK!!!!  THIS IS A SCAM!!!!   REPORT TO THE POLICE!!!  This is the only way they will stop praying on people!  

This number is a scam. They claimed my family was in a car accident and to call them. Honestly, they are just targeting people in the ny area. Watch out please.

I got a call from this number  saying a member of my family was in  a car  accident . Its a scam. Watch  out!

this number called my daughter at work and told her that her brother was involved in a serious car accident in allentown, pa and that he had hit a 10 year-old child....and that her brother was severely injured....my daughter called me to check on her brother, i ran downstairs to my sons room and there he was sound asleep, and who does not drive...with my daughter being so upset she called 911....in the meantime, my son and i called this phone and talked to a young man who called himself "alex"....my daughter called and said that the police were with her, and are investigating.... :)

I'm so upset I recieved a text then a call with same thing a family member got into an accident and they basically had my brother for ransom. I pray they get these b*****ds. I eventually hung up after going thru hell for a few hours.   called my brothet and he is fine.

Got three text messages this AM from this number stating a family member had been injured seriously in a car accident and they asked me to call.  Checked with family members who were all fine.  Definitely a scam call but can still be very upsetting.

My daughter got taken for $500.  They told her that I was in a car accident and sraped their car.  Said she needed to send via Western Union $500 or they would kill me!  Unfortunately, she transferred the money.
Why can't law enforcement stop this?  (The NSA could!)

I wrote back: My entire family died in a car accident 3 weeks ago. F*** off.

This man called my mother in law saying that her family member had gotten into an accident and that they needed $500 to ensure his safety ... Then he told her that if she called ANYONE including POLICE that her brother would receive 2 bullets to the head.  This is terrible ....

I almost got a heart attack when this guy called me telling me that my brother had a fatal car accident!!!

Just received a call from these guys telling me that he got into an accident with someone in Brooklyn and the person who was driving tried to call my number before he passed out. They kept insisting that I give out my brother's name for them to verify that it was really him. I asked him to describe my brother and the car he was driving. He wouldn't describe what my brother looked like and got the car information wrong. That's when I suspected that this was a scam. There were two males involved in this, both Hispanic. They obviously call random people, and based on the area code try to describe an incident that takes place in that area.

We just got a call from that same number saying that he had my brother inlaw, that he hit his car and that he had him in a basement. He said that if he didnt send him 1500 was going to kill my brother inlaw and my sister. By the way he knew the names.

Got the same scary call today.  Same story that a family member was in an wreck and they were being threatened by the caller.  Told me not to hang up but I did anyway.  Called my family members and they are fine.  Prank call.  Called Sheriff dept and they suggested keeping the number and reporting it to an investigator.  IT IS A SCAM!

This people are evil terrorists - we need to get the word out there...they called my son and told him they had the family and were going to kill us if he didn't wire them money.  I see that the number is still active...

This caller called my son while he was on the road and said they were gang members and drug dealers...Unfortunately he believed them.  They scammed him into wiring money.  How can we stop this - HOW CAN THEY KEEP USING THIS NUMBER - THIS JUST HAPPENED LAST WEEK...WHO CAN STOP THEM!!!????????????????
