At 8:29 am I received a call from 440 414 1700 asking for Heather Petro.  When I asked who was calling I was told Victoria and she asked if I knew Heather.  I asked her name, what company she was with and where she was located.  Victoria told me her full name was Victoria Jergusas (sp) and she worked for Asset Management, AMO and she was located in Ohio and did I know of a Heather Petro or where she was located.  I informed Ms. Jergusas that Heather has never lived here and I wanted to know where she got my number for a Heather Petro, as I have repeatedly requested that I not be called for this person.  She said they had never called our number for this person and that they had just recently acquired this account and that they will never call again.  I asked to speak to a manager and Ms. Jergusas informed me that she was a manager so I didn’t need to speak with anyone else.  I asked Ms. Jergusas if she owned Asset Management, AMO and if not who was her boss as I needed to speak with this person.  She said she did not own AMO and her boss was Mark and she would transfer me.  I asked her for Mark’s full name and a contact number to reach him in case I was lost in the transfer.  I asked her to not cold drop the call.  Ms. Jergusas informed me her boss’s name is Mark Boich and his number is 877 716 2664 x 1457.  I asked that she not cold drop the call and stay with me to verify that I reach her supervisor and that my husband and I are retired phone company employees with over 50 years of service between us and I was going to make sure this is going to stop.

Mark answered and I asked him if he was familiar with the Heather case that I was talking about.  He informed me that no, he was not familiar with it but would find out and would I please hold.  I told him I would be glad to hold and very shortly he came back on the line asking me if I knew how to reach Heather.  I told him that no, I had repeatedly asked to not be called about this person and I would like to know how my number is associated with this person.  I asked Mr. Mark Boich if this recently acquired account contained my number and told him that I wanted to know how they got my number.  He said they did not acquire this account and they did a database search for it.  I said OK, let’s find out exactly how you got my number, was it a Google search and that I needed to know who his manager was?  And he said no, it was not a Google search and that he didn’t have a manager.  I asked him if he owned AMO and he said no.  I then asked him if he had a supervisor and he said he didn’t have a supervisor and that he wanted to know if I knew Heather.  I told him that I needed to speak with his supervisor and he said that he was not going to continue with this conversation.  Again I asked him for his supervisor and again he told me that this was not going to continue and that he was disconnect the call if I could not help him find Heather.  Again I asked to speak to his supervisor and he again said that this was not resolving anything and he hung up.  At no point did I raise my voice, become abusive or use any profanity towards either of them but Mr. Mark Boich began advising me as if I were behaving that way and used this as a way to disconnect the call instead of honoring my request for a supervisor or disclose how my number was associated with Heather.

I got this call asking if I knew anyone named "Kerri Smart". I've never heard of the name. The caller knew my adress and claimed he had a call from "Kerri" a "hard-working mother of two". I told him I didn't know what he was talking about. He proceeded to tell ask me "did someone break into your house and call me?". He then proceeded to indicate that he had never actually met of talked to "Kerri". Talk about a wierd call. I never got the guy's name.

This is yet another AMO Recovery caller. They have called me repeatedly (just about every day) to try and reach an unknown party. I have asked them to stop but they keep calling and rudely keep requesting this unknown person despite the fact that I ask them to stop. How DO I get them to stop? This is harrassment plain and simple but they hang up on me if I insist that they give me someone else. I have also had calls from 1-866-323-4999, 1-866-907-3602, 1-866-907-3603 and 1-440-721-7986...JUST THIS WEEK!

I keep getting phone calls from 1877-209-6613 AMO Recovery 1st it was for a man I belive named William now it was a female.  I've called them repeatedly and asked them to take me off of their calling lists.  Yet I get at least 1 phone call every single day while I am at work.  This has got to stop.  They need to research who they are looking for and get their information straight.

Some guy named Lustek, he sounded like a midget... called me about a bill for mitsibishi. He thought he put me on hold (but didnt) so I got to listen to him sexually harass his secretary (it was pathetic, he was referring to her panties.. the guy has obviously lost touch with reality) and then talk to some co-worker about how much he lost playing the lottery that week.  This was the first time I felt harrassed when a collector wasnt even talking to me.  Joe, if you are a midget , they are running a sale at Kids are us on belts this week.

Mr boich called about my verizon bill... he said he just got done promoting his girlfriend and hiring her mom (if you know what I mean) I told him I refused to pay. He put me on hold to go change his shirt  (college) and then came back with an extra mean lisp in his voice and asked me if I knew who I was dealing with. I called him a homo and hung up. He kept calling me and rambling about being the director of operations... he sounded like he was even crying at one point. what a wierdo.

Mr boich called me and asked for some honda dealership, I told him he was interrupting my saxaphone lessons and to call me later... he told me that he was the director of operations and that no one talked to him like that, so I hung up. Before I hung up he said he was wearing his gibson shirt today

Two things

1)I would read paperwork more carefully
99% of major charge cards and even some retail charge cards signed for do require that even if you cannot afford to pay for an item or for the interest on an item you are still required to pay the monthly minimum, that interest on a "past due" bill can legally exceed 23% in some cases (23% avg), and that once you are in collections they are paying for another company to handle you since you didnt pay your bill - so you are getting charged for a portion of the fees they pay to place you in an agency.

2)I would get a copy of my credit report
By ignoring the company you appear to have absolutely no intent and at some point the account will be returned to the original company or sold to another company to gain their money back - depending on the amount and the company's policy on lawsuit minimums they can and probably will take you to court for any real property equaling the debt or garnishment of wages - and believe me, public records of many many many kinds do exist and are accessible all over the internet.

This is a collection agency wanting to collect for Chrysler.  But I don't even drive or own a car, so it must be someone else they're seeking.
The man's name was Mr. David.  He actually called the church I attend to track me down.

Every few days, these people keep calling my home.  They keep asking for a certain person.  I have told them repeatedly that there is no one that lives here by that name and to call that person at their home.  They were so stupid as to ask me the phone number of this person, as if I knew who this person is???  I am sick and tired of these calls and I am on the do not call list which I plan on letting them know about these annoying phone calls.

just got a call from this number - no message left. since i don't owe any uncollected monies, i am assuming this is for someone else, who has used this number for several different purposes (gotten calls from bail bonds people, other collection agencies, etc. all for the same named person; never heard of the person). since i have had this number almost 10 years, i don't plan to change it now.

I  goa a phone call from this number, but they left no number. I called the number back and they asked me what number I was calling from. After I proceeded to give the number they called, they ased me if I was blankety blank (but actually gave me someones first and last name) I ofcourse was not the person they were trying to reach and said they would remove my number from whatever database it was in. The lady was Ms. Holmes. Very rude lady she was. If this is a collection agency, do they have the right to give out someonse information such as full name? Especially if you are not that person? On top of this, My phone number is not listed under my name at all and the person who the phone number is listed under is not the name or do they know the name of the person they are trying to seek out. THIS MUST STOP!!  I think everyone should repeat call their number and bug the !@#% out of Ms. Holmes, so they can see how it feels.

Got another call from this number. I asked who I was talking to. The guy said his name was Angelo and that he worked for AMO Recovery. I'm very certain that this was the same man that called me earlier. Again he asked for Kerri Smart. I told him he already called and asked me that. I also told him that nobody by that name lives at my residence. I googled AMO Recovery and found a bunch of links to credit companies in Cleveland.

I got a call from this number asking for my ex-husband from years ago. When I told them I was on the unsolicitation call list they said they were not telemarketers. I found this really weird considering I just changed my phone number 2 weeks ago and after several years they are calling this new number looking for the ex.

These people call me and leave messages continuously, but I'm pretty certain that it's over a 'past due' bill for a company that I do not feel I owe.  After my request for the original company to stop charging me for a service I could no longer use, they continued to bill me.  I repeatedly requested that they stop billing my charge card and Discover refused to stop billing me as long as the company sent them the charge against my account.  I paid the monthly charge for nearly a year.  I finally just gave up and stopped paying it.  It's ruined my credit, but I have emails proving that I tried to cancel; even with that, they are still trying to make me pay.
