Received a call from this number, but, no message left. I have a huge problem with collection agencies and credit reports! Granted I owe the money, but, where is the incentive to pay off the debt? Even when you do, it stays on your credit report for years! Obama needs to change that. Think of it! You pay something off, it comes off your report and your credit score immediately improves1 Thus making us eligible for better interest rates and better loans for cars, homes! Talk about stimulating g spending!

You guys are right.  The original debts are written-off if not collected.  They sell bad debts for a fraction of the amount.  Collection agencies b***s***, lie and say anything to collect.  After a few months of calling and harassing with no results, they in-turn sell it to another collection agency.  This is where all the morons are hired, because they are not qualified for anything else.  They are not doctors, lawyers, engineers or any other productive members of society.  They are the scum of the earth.  All they can do is a repetitious, low level, menial task.
