These folks called our business. We missed the call so we have no idea who they're looking for. I tried to call back to see what or who they want, but no one answers the phone. Funny thing is, after several times of calling with no answer, it seems that "I'm bothering them" because now when I call it rings 2 or 3 times then I get dead air. Payback is a "B"!! So use your called ID blocking and harass the hell out of them!

They call me ALL the time and I do not owe any debt. I called them back and after a dozen rings a bored sounding woman answered say either ABS or IBS services. I sat there for a moment, hung up on her and reported them right away. Apparently they are harassing a lot of people in this area.

This number calls me at least twice a day. I do not know why a debt collector would be calling me seeing as I have no debt. I am going to a lawyer tomorrow morning to see about stopping this harassment.

In all but 02 states expired SoL does not cancel debt, but it does provide a big hammer to beat back a debt lawsuit or the threat of one.

The statute of limitations on debt depends upon the state in which you resided at the time the debt was incurred. You can search this easily.

Well it's probably true that the FCC can't touch them but your State Attorney General can. I got 32 calls one weekend alone from Barclay Bank and they kept asking for someone I never heard of so I wrote to my AG with a summary of the number of calls I received and he stopped them cold. I even got a letter of apology from Barclay Bank. Someone from South America gave my number as theirs and then failed to repay the loan. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT TALK TO A BILL COLLECTOR. Any conversation regarding a debt with one of those demons re0-starts the Statute of Limitation, that's why they are trying so hard to get you to answer the phone.

I called back until they finally answered. I told them to remove my number from their list. It is a collection agency. I asked him why they call and then do not say anything when I answer. He said he did not know. I told him that we don't owe anybody any thing and that they are invading my privacy and thatif they call again I will report them to the FCC. He informed me that the FCC can't touch them.

It's a company called National Enterprise (not to be confused with the Car Rental Company). They are debt collectors, usually have clients that are hospitals/schools etc although they have many clients. In any case, they're a debt collector - tell them to p****off and send them a debt validation letter. If you look around, they are scum bags and talk all sorts of "If you don't pay this second you're going to court and we'll stick you with legal fees and all sorts of other fire and brimstone stuff".

Caller ID says "Unknown Name".
Note to caller: We do not answer any calls with "Unknown Name", "Unavailable" or "Anonymous", etc.
When there's no msg, that's the clue it's a telemarketer or an unwanted call.

im going to assume a bill collector (skip tracer) calling for someone else and wont stop calling after being told that person not at this number or last names same and we live in same town
