I received a text from this number at 6:25 A.M. I googled the number to see if it was a scam, because I didn't remember signing up for anything that offered winning an iPad for free... and sure enough, it's a scam! Thanks guys for posting about it or I wouldn't have known!

Just received a text from this number saying my entry won an iPad...but I never entered anything! Googled # right away, then - ERASED MSG! Thanks for the posts. My mother always said, "If it seems too good to be true...

Ugh I got the same text- how cone I never win the lottery if I'm always "winning" iPads and cruises?!? Lol thanks for the posts guys.

My wife and I got the same message about winning an iPad at 3:25 AM EST.  Definitely a spam text.  Any j*** off that doesn't identify themselves when sending a text is definitely spam and at the time it was went...real smart scammers here.  The number is from Lorain, OH which is just outside of Cleveland.  It seems to be some type of survey they want you to take.  Legitimate survey companies don't spam text you in the middle of the night!  Plus my mobile number is on the do not call list.  I see how well that's working.  On the top of the website ( I accessed from my desktop with anti-virus) it says the name of the company is GadgetNgifts.net.  This company is in India and using a US company to make it seem legit.
Avoid, Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!

I received a phone call on my cell at 2:30am from this number telling me i won an ipad. Who calls or texts at that time in the morning to people if they know the time zone and if they work for a company they would if they were legitimate. So much for the Do not call list.
