Just got a call from 440-617-5624 which is probably the same scammer that's
using 440-617-5620.  Didn't answer.

Just this number keeps call left message with Arabic accent stating  his name is Tyler smith and that either someone call or their attorney call him back right away that he is with the us marshals office and if you ignore his call sorry about your luck!
When I called back a female asked me my name I didn't give it to her and she said you will be arrested And hung up! Then I called back several times went to message that the cell phone had no voice mail. Anyone else getting these?

received a call from 973 661 2379 claiming to be heather from card services ...................ON MY CELL PHONE AT 8AM.  This truly has got to stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I received a call from "Heather" as well this morning at 8:00 am on my CELL PHONE.  I purposely discontinued my land line because I would not stop getting these calls and now my cell phone. I am beyond furious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's "annoying"..not, "unoying".....just helping

What if the phone company had to paid their customers $50 for each call? I bet this would stop all of this unnecessary and unwanted waste of time.

Hey Thomas Payne, this forum is not about your political views. I know it might be really hard for you to stay on topic, but this forum is about telemarketing calls and telemarketing scammers. There are plenty of other places on line to share your TB/FOX views. I come here to try to find out more info about the companies who are calling me so I can make a more detailed report to the FTC about DNC list violations. If you just want to make yet another TB'er rant about Obama, please go somewhere else. Thanks.

Got a call from this number two days ago.  Caller ID on my cell was the number and "Ohio".  I didn't recognize the number, so I didn't answer.  If it's legit, the caller would leave a voice message.  

As many others have said: "Don't know it?  Then don't answer it."  Like we used to tell our kids "If you don't know the person at the door, don't answer the door."

Received a call about a credit card - don 't have one...this is a scam.

Received a phone call on my CELL phone, answered it and heard this message: "This is Amanda with credit card services. Your credit card is eligible for a lower interest rate, and to stay on the line and Press 1 to speak to an operator who will help you lower your card interest rate..." Blah-blah-blah.

I answered it because I was expecting a very important call. Now these lowlife scum know I have an operating C-ph....

BTW, my iPhone Caller ID did show the origin as Ohio, USA.

Shows up on my caller ID as " BARLETT INC"

They didn't just call my phone. They also left a text saying "I'll call you later". Of course I didn't respond.

Missed call. They didn't leave a message, which is just as well. Tried to call back to find out, got busy signal-- busy trying to scam someone, no doubt. The Devil never sleeps.

I got a call from this number too.  Be careful - they use a lot of different numbers but it is always the same scam.  If you block one number, they will call from another number.  The important thing is to never give your information over the phone.

Called my cell phone on july 9 even though I am on the 'DO NOT CALL' list.  I answered but no-one said anything.  I called the number back and there was a recording that said, "press any key to be added to our do not call list", so I did that.

Received a call at 1:38PM on July 09, 2013 advising me they were Account Services and that my account was OK and if I wanted my interest rate dropped to 4% I should dial 1.  Dialing 1 creates a disconnect.

If your area code is not the same --440 Ohio-- and you don't have free or unlimited long distance service then you will incur AT LEAST an LD charge for calling back the card service scammers. There is no purpose in calling them back anyway, as they are simply drug-addicted criminals, and will not remove your number from their calling list!

I just got home and checked my ID caller.  I received a call from "Barlett, Inc" @ 440-617-5628 @ 2:16pm today. Left no message. After reading the other posts, I am not going to call the number back. I too, am on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY...These calls are dialed through a computer. Have you ever noticed that when you do answer the phone you have to wait before you hear a human voice? That is why. the computer dials numbers and put you on hold until a human can get to you.

I do not know if the government can do anything. Some of these callers are overseas and get US phone numbers from our phone companies. Not fair, but what can we do?

440-617-5620 called me as well. When I asked the clown who he was with, he insulted me and hung up. I knew it was a scam, I was just trying to get some information out of him. I'm reporting that number to authorities, both local and federal.

I got a call today at 1:23 pm and left no VM. I called it back and it asked me to press any number to be added to their DNCL (I have family that has recently moved to Ohio so I wanted to make sure it was not them). Please, please be awared that some times when one presses any number or whatever number they ask you to do so, you might be electronically giving them permision to use your account to make international calls with your cell or land line account. My advice is to just ignore the calls. One cannot prove that they are devious until it is too late. Hope this helps.

This Do Not Call list is basically worthless.  I see the same scam numbers existing for three or four years without any FCC action, no matter how many complaints they get.
