I got the same text a few minutes ago as well and deleted it. I plan to report it to Verizon as they host vtext.

Received a text at 9am on Sunday from a vtext user that said "[BestBank] / Please contact: 1(440)782-7870"
Clearly a scam, dont even dial that number.

This # called to ask for my ss#, credit car # and password!, I am worried that there may be some one wanting to use my ss#.
