Got a call from this number. The caller left no message.

I get calls from this number on my cell phone. A lot. Now I know not to answer it. Thanks.

I got this call at 2:26 PM CST on my cell, I have T-Mobile. Didn't answer as I had no idea what this number was, and didn't get a vm. Looked it up on the net later, 44 is the country code for the UK, and 207 is the location code for "Inner London". The UK does not allow reverse number lookup, must have a name and address so you can't find out who it is.

I got a call from 442074791697 on 2/25/200 @ 11:34am central time, i missed it but no message was left, i called back and the recording i got was that the number i was tryin to call was incomplete... kinda creepy, and i have alltel

I received the same call last night at 8:25pm cst and yes, I do have verizon. I tried to call the number back and the call did not go through.

Just got a call from this # at 8:38pm Feb. 25, 2008. I missed it, but wouldn't have answered it anyway. It's obviously a fraudster. I have a Verizon cellphone and live in the northwest. I got a call from a similar # about 4 weeks ago. I am suspicious that someone has gotten a hold of a Verizon cell phone list.

I don't answer any numbers that I don't recognize.  If it's really important then they can leave a message. No message was left but I'm still curious about who they are and what they want.

I received a call at about 4:30pm est and because of the strange number I did not answer it. Wasnt sure it wasnt a scam. Seems like many people who have multiple companies are getting these calls. Perhaps if you pick up you get billed at a crazy rate. Who knows what is prompting these calls

I have gotten multiple calls from numbers like this.
Tonight I pushed 1 and a guy answered asking what the year make and model was of my vehicle. I asked the guy what their business name was "Auto Warranty Services" He said. Then he asked again the year make and model of my car. I asked what his business address was... "You don't need to know that" He said. I asked oh yeah? Why not? He said "You aren't giving me any info I'm not going to give you any info" And then he hung up.

I had another number call a week ago but it was for lowering your interest rate... I told the guy that this is a cell phone and he has no right to call ever again. He apologized and then hung up.

Dont answer these calls they are a scam.  just recieved one on my t-mobile cell from 442074791697, 9pm mountain time.

Same number as all of you.  I have Verizon also. I am wondering if all of us have Verizon, or if people here have other carriers.

Recv'd call @ 8:11p 2/25 CST. The only thing i've done on the net lately is sign up for Progressive Auto insurance, didn't answer it, no voicemail.

Just received a call at 9pm est. I pressed #1 to speak with a rep to "renew" my auto insurance. When the man answered, he didn't say his name or the company name, just asked, "whats the year and make of your vehicle", and I replied by asking him if he had my information on his computer screen, if he could see my phone number, and he said, "no, just a phone", like he was the one that was being inconvenienced, then he hung up on me!!!  This is wrong, and it wasn't even my home phone, it was my cell phone that he called, which costs money per minute of airtime usage!! Someone needs to stop this scam, IF THEY CALL YOU, JUST GO ALONG WITH IT AND FIND OUT "POLITELY" WHAT THE NAME OF THE COMPANY IS!!!!!!! Then please post it on this message board so others know, and can do something about it. Thanks

It left part of a voice mail message that said "Press 1 for repairs".

i am fed up with the fact that weird people can get my number and call. i am sick of it, it is just weird that someone or something can just call my number like that, i am getting fed up with the lack of privacy nowadays. that stupid number 442074791697 does not even seem to exist yet they can call with it

Missed a call from 442-074-791697 also, at  7:27 pm tonight, about the same time as other callers here getting that number.  What is with that?  I would say a foreign country, if so, it is Baguio 442 in the Philippines supposedly.  Have no idea what this is about, probably a scam and I wouldn't recommend anyone returning a call to a number like that.  Could be coded for who knows what.

Thought it was a call from my bro in London, turns out it was telling me my auto warrenty had expired.  2/25 7:47PM
