Recieved a call on my cell phone from 442-074-906113 at 6:40pm MST- didn't pick it up as I didn't recognize the number. They didn't leave a message.  Weird.

HEY I GOT NUMEROUS CALLS YESTERDAY ON MY CELL PHONE LIKE 5 TIMES. I MISSED THE CALLS EACH TIME. I TRIED TO CALL IT BACK BUT IT SAYS THIS NUMBER HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED OR IS NO LONGER IN SERVICE. I WAS AWAKEN AGAIN THIS MORNING BY THE SAME NUMBER AGAIN THEY HUNG UP BEFORE I COULD ANSWER. THEY HAVE NOT LEFT ANY MESSAGES. THE NUMBER IS 306-933-3645-20. I DID FIND OUT THAT THIS AREA CODE, 306, IS FROM SASCATHAWAN, CANADA BELONING TO A PHONE COMPANY CALLED SASKTEL. I ALSO HAVE VERIZON.

I received a call from this number and 442-074-070223.  I didn't pick it up for fear of something strange.  I google'd the number and found this page.  I'm in the Sprint PCS/Nextel network.

I've been tracking the same stuff. The message varies about a credit card and auto warranty. Wife made the mistake of answering the phone and selecting "2" to remove the number. Here are the numbers so far:

FTC thinks the 44 is a country code, hence the 12 numbers, so they can't help.

Missed it and no voicemail was left. Going by those who have answered and the response they got, sounds like it is a scam...

I got the call yesterday jan. 30th at 4:10pm PST. same thing as everyone else...no voicemail. i am also a verizon customer...it seems to have hit a lot of people with our company.

I received a phone call from the same number.  Shows up as a missed call.  Same situation, the extra digist at the end.  I am a Verizon customer.  Would appreciate hearing if anyone figures this out.

We recieved a call on our cell phone last evening from this number, just wanted to add that we have Quest as our provider.  We didn't answer.  We called Quest and they had no information except that it was/is wise not to answer suspicious numbers.

Received this call at 8:48 pm PST Jan. 30, 2008. I didn't answer it and didn't attempt to call it back. I don't answer weird #'s, its obviously a scam call. My wife it reporting it to Verizon now. BTW.

Called my cell phone about 4 hours and 15 minutes ago.
I missed the call and they left no message.

OK So I just tried to report this number to the Do NOt Call Registry, as my cell has been registered there and they cannot locate the area code I used 442 and it will not let me report because the area code and number are fake. I think everyone really needs to be aware and do not answer this number

Just got the same call on my Verizon Cell, came here and found like the rest of you going what the heck. I think I have my cell registered on do not call list and I am going to report the first 10 digits to that site as wel. I am also going to call Verizon, I think something stinks here

Number on Caller ID, didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  The number was 442-074-906113.  Never saw a number like that come through the cell before.  I've had my cell number for a couple of years and have never given the number out to anyone I didn't know.

I just got the call a few hours ago.  I have heard of them getting numbers to charge people.  I have Verizon as well.

i received a call from the same number at 5:33 CST and didn't beep over. I called the number back because I was wondering how it was possible to have a 12 digit phone number. Obviously as I figured Verizon would not connect the call. If Any one has any additional information other than that of the post above I would greatly appreciate it. I registered on the national do not call list numerous times and would like to get to the bottom of this.

I just got a call from 7:51pm EST today (Jan 30th, 2008) and didn't pick it up as I never pick up calls where I don't recognize the number.  The first thing I did was search the number on google and this page came up.  No voicemail.

I left a message above about getting a call from this number. I just read about the person that answered and the caller wanted to issue an auto warranty. I have been reading about other weird numbers, and the auto warranty seems to be a popular excuse. They will ask you for your name and social security number. Please be careful, for it is obviously a scam.

I also got this call a few hours ago...I answered it and got a recording that stated my Auto Warranty expired.  It asked me to press 1 to speak with a rep and 2 to disconnect.  I pressed 1 to see how they got my phone number and a guy by the name of Frank answered and asked me the make and model of my car.  And I replied with "I am wondering how you got my number" and his response was "Keep Wondering" and then he hung up.  

Anyone know what this is about?

Yeah, I just received the same phone call, I at first thought it was a friend calling from New Zealand, but I then realized the extra numbers on the end and did not answer, left no message or anything.. very weird, no call back, nothing.. hopefully someone finds out what this is..
