Got a text message from this creep saying "Hi D" as if they were a friend or close acquaintance.  Just an evil creep that enjoys texting strangers and creeping them out.  The only place this particular number of mine is listed is on whitepages.com; I know this because I was the one that added my number to that site for friends to get a hold of me without publicly advertising my primary digits.  Obviously a lonely creepy individual that enjoys perusing whitepages.com for the satisfaction of their (annoying to others) compulsion.

Yep, same thing happened to me, and I even added "txtgirl147" or whatever they said they were on Yahoo chat and tried to contact them, with no luck, then after reading this, I quickly deleted it and was done with it.

And just for the fun of it i sent a text back saying "I've read about this scam thing on the internet and I'm on to you. I'm going to get to the bottom of this..."

Course they never sent anything back haha

Got the same text, addressed me by my full first name (I never go by it), probably got my number through facebook, that's the only place it is on. The conversation went as follows...

1st Text: "hi Lochsley"
(reply) "Hi, who's this?"
2nd Text:"do you use Y.ahoo chat? cause msg me my id is txtiegirlie22"
(reply)"I don't use yahoo at all.. Who is this? Message me on Facebook."
3rd Text: "Ohh no... my Phone s gonna die ;("

Like I said, probably through facebook, a friends account probably got hacked - looks like it's time to clean out the old friend's list!

Really creepy, they addressed me by name and asked me to add them on Y! Messenger.... Told me their name was txtflirt67... Anybody get a response past that? We need to weed out this creep...
