Someone called here several times this week.  The caller ID says Baltimore County. No messages are ever left. When we try to call back, it goes straight to voicemail with a man's voice saying I'm either on the other line or away from my desk" and to leave a message.

I received a call today from this number. He said he was from Baltimore County Fire Fighters wanting donations. He is mailing the donation form. He did not ask for credit card information or anything confidential.

We keep getting calls from this number as well over and over. Today it was a male voice asking our message machine for a guy with the first name identical to the one who pays the bill but anyone that knows us knows no one at this address has that name and lives here as well; so he is able to tell what our caller ID says is our first name or else he just happened to ask for a name that matched up perfectly. either or.  He sounded slow witted or drunk saying a lot of "uhs" and pausing a lot.

It's a young man saying he is from fire department calling for donations.  They are seriously difficult to deal with.  You tell them you can't afford to donate right now and like creditors he keep trying to get you to make a donation any way.  I love the Firemen but the way they go about their phone fundraising part is disgusting.  I usually donate when they do the boot fundraising part but now after the phone call it makes me not want to.

I have received 3 calls in the past week from (443) 393-2655. The caller ID says Baltimore County, but when I did a search on the area code on  http://www.thedirectory.org/pref, the area code with the 393 prefix is in Columbia, which is in Howard County. I am going to block the number if the potential scammer calls again.

Called two days in a row. Thought it may be doctor's office since I don't have voice mail set up yet so on third day answered and they asked for Mrs. Weis,with hesitancy. I said wrong number. He asked if he could tell me why he was calling. I replied no Do not call my number again. He interrupted and said he is not calling to sell me anything. I reiterated. Do Not call me again. Then I blocked number.

It said "out of area" even though that area code is for here. didn't leave a message

Comes in as "name unavailable".  Calls 6 times in the last 3 months.
