I'm making an update to my intital comment........these people have called me 4 times in less than 6 hours.  Luckily, on my phone, I can reject numbers, so after the 2nd call, I added their number to the reject list.  It seems like they thought there might have been an issue by the 3rd call so they immediately tried a 4th time!! HA!! Looks like they won't be bothering me anymore!!

got a call from this number with no message left. I really hope they don't keep calling me.......but if they do, I'll just block their number on my cell phone and maybe after a few times of trying to call and being disconnected before it even rings, they'll take my number off their list.

when i called this number back it was a company offering a sweepstakes. the automated 'person' you speak with only gives you the option of pressing "1" to be entered in their contest. i waited until the number automatically hung up because i was waiting for another option to maybe opt out of these calls but alas, there's not option 2, there is only option 1. you're better off ignoring the call and not pressing anything in case you do answer it. they're fishing for your credit card number.

I actually answered 1 of the gazillion times yesterday. They said I had been entered in a sweepstakes because I use mastercard or visa! I decided to play it out as long as I could to see where it was going. They claimed that I would receive 3 magazine free if I just subscribed to tv guide for a rate of 4.99 a week. And that I would receive a free diamond watch as well. They told me they signed me up for working mother, teen vogue and glamour magazines but that I would be receiving a catalogue if I wanted to change them. Again I just kept going to see where they were leading. Finally the woman gave me an order number (c208) and transferred me to a supervisor for confirmation. The supervisor proceeded to verify the order and asked if I was happy with the service so far. He then asked for my credit card number to complete the order. I explained that I was working and didn't have my card on me right then. I also said there were people around I didn't know and even if I did have it I wouldn't be reading over the phone. Then he began acting strange asking why I was uncomfortable. He said that he had my card number infront of him and that it started with a 4 but that I would have to verify before he could complete the order. Considering all visa cards start with a 4 that really was amusing. I did ask for a number to call back when I got home and he said there isn't one. At one point he offered to give me an 800 number but then never did. He ended the call very aggitated saying he would just note to call me back but he never did. Although the same number called my work phone today! Lol. This is a complete fishing scam.  You have been warned!
