I purchased a new cell phone, gave my new number to my son **and no one else** and before he called me once, these bozos had called me THREE TIMES!

I'm in my 70s and once ALMOST allowed one of these companies to talk me into paying them money I did not owe, so now I'm afraid my name is on some sort of potential sucker list. I'm surprised how quickly the three calls came--all within 24 hours of my new phone's activation.

I have been getting calls from this company non stop in reference to a bill that an ex who lived with me defaulted on.  I tried talking to the "gentleman", but he was NOT very nice, and wanted MY bank card number so they could process a payment.  I tried to explain SEVERAL times that my ex was no longer living there, but he didn't want to hear what I had to say.  The calls come at least 6-10 times a day, and even when I'm not home, they don't leave a message.

You could try reading the material I had JUST THAT DAY linked to when you commented .....

Received similar calls from 443-440-5175 on a Sunday twice before I called the 866-212-7408 and told the person (call was recorded for legal purposes) that no one lives here by that name and any further calls from NCO Financial or RPM to my phone would result in legal action against the company its affiliates or any subsidiaries.

I receive continual calls from 443-440-5175 but there is no one there. Can anything be done about these annoying calls?

"StopCalling", Michelle, and Lyndas are setting a poor example. Your caller does not maintain this site or this web page. Your caller cannot magically determine which numbers should not be called based on anonymous comments. You will not get compliance with your orders until you deliver them DIRECTLY to your caller.


Whether you are called a debtor or some collector thinks you can flush one out, you have rights and options. Most are simple to exercise if you only learn how. The FTC and the CFPB can start you on your homework. See also if your state laws grant additional or stronger rights.

I got a call from this number and after the recording. A person asked for me but I pretended to be out and got a number 866-212-7408 called it back and it's a place called RPM a debt collector.... I don't have a debt with them.

Somebody is harrasing me by calling me from a number showing as "443-440-5175" Kindly help out if you can.

Yep. Debt collector...using an autodialer and they won't leave a damn message.  Called them back and they weren't very professional (I manage a collections function and the collector I spoke to was very inexperienced or just not that good).  He asked for somebody who Verizon has tried to contact at my number months ago.  Explained I don't know that person and have had my cell number for at least 6 years.  Told them to stop calling me.

I am getting calls everyday from this number. I called back once and was told someone wanted to talk to me and I should wait. I hung up. I want them to stop calling me.

Yesterday, I got a call from this number at 10:32 Am. I was busy and did not answer the call. They called me again this morning at 9:02 AM. I called them back. At first, I got a recording. I couldn't understand the first part. But then said The calls will be recorded. Then I got man on the phone. I told him my name. Then I told him that I got a call from them. He said that he will check it out and put me hold. I waited for 3 min on the phone and I hanged up.

Called this number and called back restricted. Number belongs to "rpm" aka "receivables performance management". They are a collection agency. Won't leave a message.
