For two days in a row I have gotten a call from 443-478-4803.   The call is high pressure from a woman, also threatening a lawsuit, if I don't call the plaintiff  directly at 484-462-4952. and I'm to list Case #_______. They first called me  by the wrong name, stated this was a civil complaint....something about contacting my HR Dept....from the State of PA"???  I did call them back at the 443.....Number, but the phone rang 10-12 times, and no one answered.  Why did these calls start coming when I got on the "Do Not Call List"????   I never got such calls in the past.  My Call Block with Verizon is already full of other numbers which bother me daily.   What can a person do to stop this harassment?   I do think these calls are dangerous, and refuse to answer when they call, but ignoring them does not seem to stop them????

You can report them to your state attorney general.  Check the state website, different states have different laws but in California they are not allowed to to that.  They have called me & stated his name was Steve Johnson & that he was an investigator w/ the Federal Trade Commission & they were coming after me.  I will be following up with them today.

I keep receiving a call from this number 315- 4109704 leaving  messages that this is the last time they are calling me and they are taking me to court for the reason  I don,t know.
When I try to answer the phone , it is just the machine that keep talking and I very tired of this

court summons is threat  making threats over that you are going to get a summons the local police dept. tell me  to start a log and fill a police report and call my phone and a harassment report can also be filled

This was the third time I asked these punks (855-209-0496) to stop calling me!! Mr. Stone hung up on me three times, but I kept calling back until her confirmed my number would be removed.

I have saved recording and I am taking it to the DA.

Been calling for days saying that I was going to be served at home or at work.  the recording has a place for the court number but there is no number given.  Have checked with court house and there are no cases pending.  This sounds like a scammer to me.

I just received a message today from them threatening to serve me with a court summons at my home or work within the next 24 hours...caller referenced a case number (blanked out) and advised me to call the petioner directly @ 443-478-3961 to voluntarily resolve this and have a stand down issued...

I called the CT State Police and they came out and listened to message and stated there was nothing they could do, as there was no direct threat made....
They did advise us if an unknown individual did show up tomorrow to call 911...

I have been receiving harrassment calls from this number 443-478-3961 at my work# a guy identifying himself as Jason Weinburg regarding a summons that needs to be served to me for a coming up hearing. He mentioned he is an attorney with Hogan & Weinburg. When I called them back the women who answered got very nervous when i started questioning her about the business. She said they might of had the wrong number. How could I stop these harrassment calls.

We received a message from James Weinberg of the lawfirm Hogan & Weinberg leaving no information of who he was calling for the the purpose of his call other than it was urgent lawsuit papers and needed to get ahold of "you" or the "company" because urgent court dates were coming up.  He also said that he sent a packet of papers and needed some information for his client filing and needed to call him back with the information on page 15.  The allegedly urgent reply telephone number the caller left was (855) 276-1132.

We did NOT call him back but reported to all employees to be on alert and not to return the call if they receive a message or call.

This is not a law office it is a collection agency,  there was an on line add requesting the finest collection pond scum call them at 716-332-1643 for a collection job, the real name of this fly by night operation is HW Capital and they are located at 2190 Marina Dr Hamburg, NY 14075 and the owner is Mark Lesinski per NY Sec of State filing date 5/11/2012 SOS filing# 4244429.  As a collection agency they have no ability to process serve nor could they afford to file law suits, they are just using illegal scare tactics that violate the FDCPA as well as numerous state laws

I got a message saying he is an investigator and asked me to call 443-478-3961 immediately.  He left me a message that I have only 24 hours to solve this case.  Then, I called the above number, and woman named Ms. Scott answered the phone.  She said she will accept credit, debit, and prepaid card only.

I just started getting thease calls  what do i do

I have been told by this number that they were going to contact my employer and that I needed to sign page 15 of some paper they claim to have mailed to me, most of the message made no sense.  I have also gotten calls from 716-362-8928 & 855-209-0496 claiming check fraud and lawsuits pending and they need my NAME AND SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, if they have a "bad" check from me why don't they have my name, and the numbers on my check are an old phone number.... plus I don't write checks! SCAM
I have blocked these numbers from my phone but still get voicemails from them.

I  have been receiving multiple calls and voicemails from 855-209-0496 claiming to be an "investigator" who is serving me with a summons within 24 hours to my home or business,  and asking me to call 443-478-3961 in order to "take care" of the situation without a lawsuit.  None of my debts are in collections.  I believe that this company is calling in regards to collecting a debt from my relative, since whenever I get on the phone with them, they ask if I know where my relative is.  No matter how many times I warn these individuals that I am on the Do Not Call List, they continue to call my phone and leave harassing voicemail messages.  This is obviously a scam.

I have received calls from these people for months. Same things as above.  When I asked for the Stone guy they told me he no longer worked there.  I said that's funny, he just left me a message 10 minutes ago!! Anyway, go the the NY Atty General website and file a report.  I did.  They called the number and wrote back to me saying they were a scam and have no authority to send anyone to serve me or arrest me.  DO NOT SEND THESE PEOPLE MONEY!

So, I got a call on my work voice mail yesterday (10-30) indicating there was a court hearing today (10-31) and they wanted a statement from me for the hearing. Now today the supposed date of the court hearing, I received a message from a "legal courier" regarding documents waiting a signature of acknowledgment. They called from 716-362-8928, but the message indicates I can call the petitioner at 443-478-3961 to sign for the documents or reschedule the court hearing. Hmm, the first message these people Hogan and Wineburg left indicated the hearing was scheduled for 10-3.

I have been receiving a call from that 716 number since the summer time. I thought I actaully owed a debt so I paid them 400. The realized that it was a scam so the bank investigated it and confirmed it was and returned the money back to me. I since then changed accounts etc etc. I continue to still receive calls and message saying the same thing. You owe up money blah blah blah, we are going to send you a summons, you have to report to court tomorrow. I now get calls from the number in Maryland. I called them back and they answered at 10 at night. She said she talked to me on October 5. LIAR. I broke my phone on October 4, replacement didnt come until October 8, I didn't have a phone from that t
Thursday til Monday evening. Pay these people no mind. If you can change your number to an no listed number. They are a pain in the ....

Once again these weasels are calling ..all lies, all illegal and all a bunch of crap...I have received calls just like all the others that have been reported here even though ive reported these offenders...and got yet another call today..which went to vmail....this time its a woman claiming she was Ms. Weinberg and I needed to solidify a statement because of a hearing scheduled for Oct 31st. Its a recorded msg because it repeats itself 2xs, and she asks for a call back on 855-209-3594. Im about to *67 both of these numbers and play my own games with these fraudsters..they need to be stopped. Good suggestion from the person named "Calling your bluff" on this thread...im going to harrass them now!

Got the same call regarding them issuing a summons and if I don't call immediately they will arrive at my place of business to issue.  The call came from 716-362-8928 and asked that I call 443-478-3971.

I have started receiving call from this number.  I filed bankruptcy 2 years ago and all was put in that.

caller was not the mayo clinic. I was a recording calling the mayo clinic soory for the error.

This person called saying a summons will be sereved to my home or job. Don knwo what he is talking about though.
