These people will not even identify themselves.  I am going to find them and they are going to regret trying to steal my identity.

call back to number advises that it is a "non-profit fundraising" organization raising money "police entities in [your] state."  If further advises that the "do not call list" is not applicable to it.  It further advises that if you give it your name and number it will honor your request not to call.  We'll see

When I answer, they hang up.  The caller ID says "Vonage Holdings."

I just moved and have a new telephone number.  I have put it on a Do Not Call list, so I am not sure why I am receiving these frequent and annoying calls.  I want them to stop.

it rings throughout all times of the day but never after 9pm...i called them and left a very nasty message because i was getting pissed off that they keep calling with a hangup.

Call came in about 12:03 pm.  I have a zapper on the line.  Said hello. No voice on other end several clicks in background. *69 and got this number,443-541-3307.  Did not call back.  Presume the zapper worked

Two calls in two days.  Caller ID shows UNKNOWN NAME.  Found info on switchboard.com same as someone else reported.  Fund raising I'm sure.

Came up on caller ID as "Out of Area".  The phone number is traced to a resident in Baltimore, MD area.  Answered the call and the caller hung up.
Went to switchboard.com and found the following information.

Keep receiving phone calls from this number.  No response when answered.  Keep getting hung up on.

Guy asked for us by Mr and Mrs (used our last name)and when I said we were not here, he would not leave a message. He said he was Bill Peterson and would call back and when I went to ask him from where, he hung up.

I just called them back and got a recording.  After you listen to their BS, you can give them your name and number and be placed on their do-not-call list.

I have received a call from this number 3 days straight (Jul 16-18, 2007). No one is on the line when I answer.
