My husband and I get calls from this number every single day. From yesterday at 1pm until today at 12pm they called his phone 9 times and my phone the same. I know I owe them money but we are going through a tough time right now and they will get there money when they get it.

Put them on the reject list...
| Reject List 2013-11-14 23:33:03 Debt Collector |
Just put them on the reject list.. And pay the bill as soon as you can. With today's technology, there is no reason to be harassed by any unwanted calls.. Someday, bill collectors will get it.

I sent Credit One a certified letter and they signed for it a week ago. They called on a different number then and now they are using this one.How do I sue them now for violation of the fair credit act. I am not in debt to anyone much less any dealings with Credit One bank

Something like that . Don't forget prankdial. Another fun one.
If every person that took the time to post on here would do what I suggest.
They would never have the time to call and scam you because there phones would be ringing all day long :)

NCO Financial Systems, caller id: NCO
They never bother to leave any kind of a message, so now they're blocked. At my house, no message means you didn't actually want to talk with anyone. Do it again and you're blocked.
They're bottom-feeders, so it would be absolutely no surprise if Credit One Bank is using them, since they're bottom-feeders, too.

I saw this on another message board: (They asked for my son - he hasn't lived here for 5 years, I told them they had the wrong number)
It's a zombie debt collector called RPM (Receivables Performance Management) Collection "Agency".... the Federal Trade Commission guy I called said they are most likely an off-shore scam. It is illegal to collect debts more than four years old (except for student loans and of course IRS) and/or has been written off by the original debt-holder. A lot of the so-called "zombie" debt collects actually get the account info which they refer to from hacked info from credit reports which have old account numbers and you contact info on them. Another thing is the credit reports to protect you only have a few digits of your social, so zombie collectors try to get you WHOLE social for their use by offering you the numbers they have and wanting you to tell them the other digits (pretending they are trying to identify you correctly). The FTC guy told me do not return their calls, don't answer their calls and if you accidentally answer DO NOT CONVERSE, simply hang up... this is in part because people who converse with them get put on illicit lists they share with one another of people likely to crack if pressured enough to pay them!!

Most android phones have an app that will block these calls. Sends any unwanted calls straight to voicemail. I had issues with these people calling my phone and i have never had credit one. They dont believe me when i tell them im not the person they are looking for. They want all this proof and what not. Why should i have to provide proof when its not me thats slakcing on bills. So i got the call blocker app.

Always RECORD their calls. Tell them you are recording. If they object tell them they can hang up. RECORD them. Tell them you will sue for each and every FDCPA violation. DEMAND a letter of validation through the MAIL. DEMAND their physical address to send a certified cease and desist letter. Then sue them for every FDCPA violation.

Credit one bank. Are they even allowed to call on sundays? They r very annoying.
| Dale 2012-03-09 20:35:10 Debt Collector |
To get them to leave you alone call back and flip out, claim to be someone else and tell them they have the wrong number. They'll stop calling for a few weeks if your lucky. Then rinse and repeat.
