Keep calling but when we answer, they hang up.

Sunday, May 25, 2008 Two calls from this number were made to my home today. The call disconnects about a second after I answer it.

Please see notes from "Rhonda" of Dec 9, 2007. Exact same situation.

I called Dennis Marketing at Phone: (410) 654-0100 and pressed #2 and spoke to Mr. Dennis.  He apologized for the automated system.  They are contracted by UMUC to solicit for their various campaigns. He took my phone number and assured me he'd have my number deleted.  I assured him, I'd call him and say Hey, every time his company calls me!  I got his phone number from City search.  I love the 'net!!!!!

I also called the UMUC Alumni Relations number and explained the problem to Robin.  She gave me a number to call; 1-240-684-5100.

UMUC?  My wife is a UMUC alumni, maybe that has something to do with it.

I get a call from these bozos every day.  I don't answer

Been getting calls from this number everyday sometimes several times. I do not answer unknown, but I did see Dennis Marketing on my caller ID before. I am UMUC Alumni, I will take me info off their site.

Had a "missed call" on my cell phone from same number.  I see by this website that it is the same number that I reported six weeks ago.  UMUC's increasing tendency to make money instead of providing a quality education is why I dropped out of their Masters program half way through with a 4.0 average.  I was getting nothing but a grade out of their curriculum and they were getting a ton of money out of my pocket.

I have begun receiving calls from this outfit and found this message board when I "Googled" their number.  I am a UMUC Alum, and I plan to contact them (UMUC) tomorrow to file a complaint.

Just received a call from 449-738-1954.  No one responded. Caller ID was "UNKNOWN", but for many weeks we having been similar experience with "Dennis Marketing". Occasionally, they ask for my wife (umuc alumni).  When I explaing she isn't home, they hang up.  I would have expected better from UMUC.

Have been receiving a call from this number many times over the past 2 weeks.  Every time I answer, it is silent on the other end.  Sometimes I am receiving a call 3 x per day.  Today I called back and it was a UMUC alumni fund raising voice mail. I left my name and number and specifically asked to have my information removed and that I would not be interested in assisting their drive since they were so inconsiderate as to continually call me to only have silence when I answer.  The voice mail also indicated it could take up to 10 days to remove my name.

twice in two days. I'm on the do not call list. no answer when I picked up.

I keep receiving calls from this number at least 3 times a week.  caller id lists it as Dennis Marketing.  No one says anything, and there is no answer when I call back.  This is harassment.

Block it or call UMUC Marketing Communications Division or report to Federal Trade Commission

Received a call from this number, but no one was on the line.

Received a call from this number at 7:30 this evening.   Answered the phone only to hear silence.

Got a call from this number today at 130pm, when answered there was no one on the line and I hung up. No call back.

Got a call from this number on my cell phone. Didn't sound like anyone was on the other end though.

Got 3 calls from them today. They didn't live messages on the first 2. I picked up the 3rd and promptly hung up after hearing the telltale silence. Yahoo lists one Dennis Marketing as a management consulting firm out of Baltimore MD with same area code.
