I don't know who this number is from because I don't answer "unknown numbers!"  However, looking at the postings, it could be United Health Care!  I told them months ago to remove this number from their call list!  Yesterday, I called them again, only to learn that my husband, who also has UH, had to give his okay to remove him from the list (and the number is in my name!!!)  In any event, I have removed him again.  Here is the catch ... if my name is removed and we still get 6-9 possible calls from UH every day - how many more would we get if supposedly my number was not taken off?  In addition, all numbers go through a fax machine - and unless I know the caller, they don't get answered.  There are several numbers that UH "robocalls"!  I have almost maxed out my "blocked numbers" with these jerkos!  PLEASE QUIT CALLING

I just called  1-866-686-2504 as suggested by someone else on this board.  A very nice and polite gentleman answered.  He explained they wanted to send a doctor over to review my medications and perform a physical.  He could not understand why I did not want this service and why I wanted to opt out of further calls.  I explained I have been seeing the same M.D. for 20 years, was very happy, and did not want strangers coming to my home for any reason.  I asked to be removed from their call list and he said he would take care of this.  Let's hope so.  

It's not new under Obamacare. It's something the insurance companies started doing a couple of years ago. They send a doctor or nurse out once a year to check on you because some patients won't go to the doctors. This report gets forwarded to your doctor. My doctor just threw it away because I see him regularly. It's a good idea unless you already see your doctor.  It actually might save some money in the long run if they can catch some issues early.

They will keep calling until you tell them yes or no, but it is something they will do every year. I have had it done. Just an FYI! :)

This is not a scam.   United Healthcare provides a great service to its Medicare members.  A nurse will come to your house to review your meds and talk to you about your medical needs.  Consider this an asset.  They helped my mom by identifing conflicting meds that her multiple docs had prescribed.  Once she knew the right things to ask her doctors they realized that she was on a potentially dangerous medication combination.  Stop being so cynical.

I have called both, to complain, several times..  Ask to speak to supervisor....think they don't have any!!!!
Have told both "I am cancelling" because of the phone calls!!!   They don't care, I'm sure    They still have thousands to call and annoy.   Service has been ok thru them but, nothing I hate more than unwanted calls.

I too get calls every day.  Who owns this no.?  Is there some way to get it disconnected?  If it's United Healthcare, I'm all for publicizing it with the press and  finding a way to harass them.   Also, why not bombard United Healthcare and XI Health with emails complaining about that no.

I just now received a call from this number but, since I didn't recognize that number on my caller ID, I did not answer the call and they left no message.  In reading the messages on this site, I see that the number belongs to United Healthcare.  It's understandable that they would phone me since I have their Medicare health plan in association with AARP.  It's good to know who it was that was calling!

called contact number from AARP United Healthcare website and they gave a number you can call to opt out of this service and these calls:  1-866-686-2504; line available 8 am to 6:30 Eastern Standard Time.

These people say they are from United Health care insurance co. and are giving a  45 min to 1 hour free in home health care exam no obligation by the insurance company just have all your medications available.  My opinion, scam, scam, scam.  FREE TOO, bah humbug.

Don't answer calls of these guys! United Health Care using a contracted 3rd party for home doctor service for retirees on Medicare and UHC supplemental insurance. They say that just want to visit you at home for a "records update" as they say which can be done at your doctors office. Then a local doctor that makes house calls, phones and says they are coming with the visit and to beware that they want to do a physical checkup at the same time for a blood and urine testing, WTF!? It is a scam so they can make some money from senior citizens as far as I am concerned! There is a lot of better options for anyone that needs in home doctor care then these jerks.

These nuisance calls come from United Healthcare and their message is that "the key to good health is a positive attitude".  However and ironically, during the same period that they were bombarding me with this great news their so-called CUSTOMER SERVICE dept. and TECHNICAL HELP DESK were unable to solve the problem of allowing me access to their Web site and my account.  It took them almost a full month to figure out THEIR problem and totally eroded any positive attitude I may have had prior to doing business with them.  I am now a complete mental wreck and will soon be a 'ward-of-the-state', all the doings of UHC!!  {:>)

If you are a client of United Health Care (the AARP Insurance provider) they can call you unless you ask them not to. They have your phone number because you are a client. You should have received a mailing telling you that they would be calling to set up an appointment. You can refuse the service.

This is United Healthcare calling and calling and calling - I called the headquarters today and was assured they would stop calling, but would take 7 to 10 business days.  I will have to see if it works.

This is a outsource company for United Health Care. This time the Insurance co. wanted to have a rep come to my home to address my issues. They sent a letter - I did not need/want so I pitched it. Their changes in coverage eliminates half of medicine costs - want me to switch to more meds, more frequently not timed release single dose for 24 hours. 4 x medication to get same result and greater chance of cardiovascular problem. I'll be looking for diff ins. come Oct.

Call was from United Health Care trying to promote a Dr.'s home visit. Thank goodness I purchased Digitone Call Blocker almost 2 years ago because I blocked this number and won't be bothered anymore. This was the first unsolicitated call I have recieved in over six months. I enjoyed peace and quiet durring the presidential campaign and have not been bothered by unwanted callers. Everyone I see on these sites complains that the government can't do anything about enforcing the no-call-list, and that's true. In fact, the government can't do much of anything. If you want something done right, then you are going to have to do it  your self, get a good call blocker and get the relief you have been looking for.

I have a United HealthCare Medicare Advantage Insurance plain. When I returned the call, they wanted to send a dr on a yearly basis for a  checkup.

The FTC/FCC should be notified to contact corporate HQ of United Healthcare as they might not be aware.  Seems to be affecting those enrolled in UHC Medicare Complete.  I received numerous calls (robocalls) from UHC Medicare Complete (enrolled 1/1/13) doing general survey for whatever reason.  May be connected. UHC has other policies not connected w/AARP; could be only those AARP/UHC Medicare policies that are experiencing this.  Suggest all affected call both AARP and UHC and give them hell.  Maybe they can stop this.

P.S. General survey came from different # and they left message.  These calls, to my cell, were all hangups - no message left.

The number is to AARP United Health Care Medicare Complete.  No option to opt out of being called.   As I told them, if you cared about my health, do not call and elevate my frustration level and stress.  Humana is the  same way....ANNOYING....and to cut health care cost, stop calling and mailing crap/junk mail, save on postage & phone cost and pass the savings onto your Customer's/Clients/Insured.

This is coming up on my Caller ID as"United Healthcare"!!  I wasn't able to take the call, & no msg on VM.

All they wanted to do was schedule a home health care visit, a service provided and paid for by United H.C., but hey should not have called my cell, they said sorry.

These calls are really annoying!!!!!!!!!I have left messages on their answering systems,,,,And I still get calls...For 2014 I will change my Health Insurance....Today , they left a message,,,,then it played music for 3 minutes,,,Used up my tape,,,,Really!!!!

Again and Again, and again....all different numbers....What can I so ....I want to be on their DO NOT call list....
