Yep, the whole - hey,can you grab so and so for me? thing is annoying - especially if I can hear that you are calling from a call center! When I said he was out in the field, she goes on to ask - well, then can you give me his cell number, I really need to talk to him. I said, sorry but he's in a meeting. I can take your info and email it to him..that's ok she says, she'll just call back..well - you'll just get me answering the phone anyway! UGH.

Holy fake sales person. She had me going for a while and started wanted personal info and promising tickets, packages, meals....UM NO. Once she wanted me to order the supplies right then I said NO and she was not happy. Tried to say she was a single mom and it would help her out. STILL A NO. Very creepy. Hang up right away. Tried to call the number back and it won't connect.

Just called back for the 3rd time today but this time, instead of IPC, they are calling themselves IPX...funny how they keep changing their company name.

They tried calling back again this morning.  I recognized the number; but since I have to answer every call that comes in and when they took their time before saying something, I just hung up on them.  The person they asked for yesterday doesn't order the safety supplies so they were asking me to "grab" the wrong person anyway.  They never bothered to identify themselves so I'm glad now there is some information to go on as to who they are.

I agree completely....first red flag sign...foolish people.

This is IPC Construction.  With a little bit of internet research, you can find out what kind of Scam they are running.  Don't answer the call if possible because telling them to stop calling doesn't work. They just change their number and call back.

Completely and totally inappropriate call etiquette.  Calls here asking me to "grab" someone as in, "Hey, can you go grab so-n-so?"  I said, "Excuse me?" A little taken aback by the inappropriate way she addressed the call and she even went on to say, "yeah, can you grab him for me?"   By now I was a little perturbed and said "Can I 'grab' him for you?" And when she said, "Well I don't mean physically, but can  you get him for me?" As if I could put the phone down and leave my desk to go and get him like he were in the next room.  By now I was even more suspicious of the call and said a bit sarcastically, "I can *transfer* you."  People like that who think they will go further with their calls by acting like they're old buddies are complete idiots in my opinion.

Patty called and asked for wrong person.Acted like she knew the person. When speaking to that person it was discovered that she was looking for whoever orders safety supplies. Would not leave message and did not give company name. Will not be getting thru next time she calls either. Calling from a cell phone.
