Caller told me I was approved for a govt. grant for 3,500 that I don't have to pay back. The caller was a foriegner was vey difficult to understand. I told him I couldnot understand him, He said he would call back, I am still waiting. I feel this is some kind of scam.

I got a call from a weird 904 number yesterday... Don't know who they are of who they get it but they keep calling my work phone and I don't give out my work number to anyone.

This number has a lot in common with 301 561 2840
Indian guy, with heavy accent.
claiming he is from some govenment office saying you are approved for a grant and requesting personal informaion.

I have a Tmobile cell phone. It is happening with all types of phones or just Cell phone useres? Start calling your service provider, every time it happens. let them know what is going on

I just tried to call this number back and was told this is not a valid number.  When they called they waited for a min or two and then hung up.

I have received several calls from this number on my cell phone late at night. I havent answered and it looks like I shouldnt. For those who do... do not agree to anything and do not confirm any information whether it is name, address or bank info. I work for a bank and deal with fraud all day long like this. The only question I have is when did you start receiving these calls......for me it seemed to be right after I ordered a few things off the internet...you?

Called in early am, waking us up, they hung up before we got to it...no message on phone

Got a call at 10:o5 all they did was laugh on the phone. some one needs to stop them.

Received a call at 10:30 pm last night from this number.  The accent was so thick that I never did understand what they said.  I got angry and shouted at them, "What are you doing calling me at 10:30 pm".  They immediately hung up on me.  This is really scary.  After reading your notes it seems a lot of you indicate that they already have all your information including your bank account number.  I am personally am going to call my bank this morning and report this so I don't get hit with any surprises.

I just received this call that kept asking for my husband but never left a message. It was a hispanic man that would not leave a message when I tried to call it back it said it was not a valid number. Can anyone tell me what kind of call this might be?

I got a call at 5:37am PST today and didn't get to the phone on time. No message or anything. I tried calling it back and was told number was out of service. So I ked it up on here and also found out that this area code 444 is from San Luis Potosi in Mexico! I am contacted the FCC to tell them.

I have gotten about 10 calls from this number in the past few days.  Who the hell are they?

Just got a call from this number at about 11:30pm ET and they didnt say anything. They just sat their for about a minute then hung up. This is ridiculous getting a call this late at night. These people should be shut down.

Just got a call (on my cell) from these people. 3:37 p.m. I didn't answer it, after reading this page, I'm glad I did.

Already had bank info.  Trying to steal from me.  They admitted to it and got mad at the end and said I'm going to take all of your money.

It seems i have the same caller but what is strange is they had all of my info correct accept for an old bank account thats no longer active but they had the account number right....watch out this is a scam for a purchase of a grant program kit and if you say yes they try to charge the account for about 300 plus bucks...definite scam... report this to the the government agency here in the US that tracks fraud if you get this call and refer them to this web site since they cant seem to find it on their own.

recieved call on cell from this number at 10:00 pm tonight. It was my husbands cell. He always has me check for numbers he doesn't know.
He gets these all the time. I haven't ever gotten one on my cell. Didn't answer the call.

Got a call at 7:45 this morning from this number. didnt answer it though. I never answer a call if i dont reconize it. But this is garbage that this is what they do. no wonder they are not in America.

Got a call at 7AM this morning from this number...answered it and no one was on the other line, but they called back n left a voicemail and all u could here was a hispanic lady talking to her co-worker.

This number called me at like 7 this morning on my cell, telling me I got money from the government as well. I told them they had the wrong number and then hung up. They called back and asked why I hung up I had money waiting, so I asked who they were looking for, and it wasn't me, but they said I could still get the money, so I hung up again. They didn't call back.

Got a call at 6:25 this morning and the person said they were from the US grants department... there isn't a grants department. They said I won $3500.00, for no declaring bankruptcy for the last two months and filing taxes.  But they had the wrong name and the wrong address with my phone number.  Just to let everyone know... pretty positive this is a scam!!!

i just got a phone call from that number, i didn't answer it. The number called my cell phone.

Called my home at 9:37 pm and hung up as soon as I answered the call.

Can anyone tell me what sort of call this may be? This is the first for me.
