I received the same message from +447717130429 saying:

"PANASONIC PROMO, YOU HAVE WON £1,000.000 POUNDS IN THE ONGOING PANASONIC MOBILE SMS PROMO. FOR CLAIMS, CONTACT MR. JASON VIA EMAIL ON: panasonic.sms9@live.co.uk"

On emailing this person asking what it was all about, I got an email back explaining my number was one of 20 chosen to win £1000 pounds and that I should email back with all my details and a scanned copy of my driving license.

After searching this supposed promotion up, I found this website so its a good job im not gullible! It is clearly a scam and I advise none of you reply to this person.

Its rather annoying that companies such as O2 and Vodafone are giving out our personal details to companies like this, Its a shame that someone out there has gave them their details to be honest.

I just got my new phone from this network (Three) and got that message too.
Well, for a start, this is probably a scam.
Secondly, there must be a problem of confidentiality on this or other networks! Why does this guys send so many scam messages so easily?
Sincerily, I will not reply. Waste of time.

I just got 2 text messages within 30 minutes from Mr Jason to say I had won £1m - these scam merchants need to be dealt with, but with Ofcom not willing to intervene they know they can just get away with it.
