I got call from this exact number & her name was Cristina... they are debt collector in Laval.... im in montreal... her post was *2249. She asked for a girl whoever she is, its not me! But legaly we can do something and gain money instead of losing (4sum) or being harrassed 4other!

The 1st time they call u they do the happy voice so u will call back thinking u won something! Maybe this site is theirs so those who owe money will give themselves, u know?!!?
They called me too & i know i dont owe $ to anyone so i think we all should do a complaint to police cuz they may be mobster or illegal & search... its not working plus i never receive any letter cuz i dont have a fix adress. Just screw them but talk to a lawyer in case, realy. ;)

they called me like 16 times and i blocked their number. Dont know who they are or want they want, I read they are debt collectors but I always pay everything so I would rather call them illegal harassers :P.

things to remember about debit collectors  If you do not know  you have no debit give a warning
Its against the law to harras you and even if you owe money  report it to bell or who ever because its up to you to help others  Also report to comsumers re calls like that you help others  Keep a dairy of the times and so you can send that to comsumer affiars to help you or the police  Check the RCMP sites for unwanted calls they have a list to follow and all the other police do to
here is another tip If you lease a car from dealer  if you can not make the payments  say nothing just get someone to follow you to the car dealer or camper etc and drive up park and walk in and drop of the keys If they ask just say the car is out in the lot and is returned DO NOT SIGN FOR IT OR ANYTHING BECAUSE IF YOU DO YOU END UP PAYING TWO TIMES OVER .  JUST GIVE THE CAR ETC BACK AND WALK AWAY THIS  THE LAW EVEN A LAWYER WILL TELL YOU THIS .  OH YES THEY CALL AND SAY YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THE CAR ETC JUST SAY THE BANK TOLD ME YOU ALREADY BEEN PAID AND THIS IS THE LAW YOU GOT YOUR CAR EVEN CAR SALESMEN DO NOT KNOW THIS LAW BUT IT IS THE LAW

A lady from D&A Collection Corporation at 800 Chomedy Blvd (Tour C Suite 520), Laval, Quebec H7V 3Y4 Telephone 4509881022 Fax 4509881379 Toll Free 8883951147. Called my cel phone a several months back asking me to return her call regarding a reference number. I contacted her immediately and she informed me that I owed $814.47 for Bell Canada services that were past due. I told her that all my bills were paid for and that it must be some clerical error in the paperwork. (I was receiving monthly bills from Bell with no such balance showing.) She told me that the only option would be to pay the $814.47 for account to be closed and she was not willing to speak to Bell to resolve this issue. At that time we ended the call and I left the situation as is since I was receiving a monthly bill from Bell of about 100$ and there was no past due amount showing. I continued to receive calls from Gabriella, she would leave voice mails asking for me to call her since I never answered her calls. I never returned her calls because I believed she was trying to scam me out of money for a fraudulent invoice. After months of her calling leaving messages, I contacted Bell Canada at 310-BELL and they informed me that my invoice was up to date and they didn't know why D&A was contacting me. I had Bell look further into my information and they discovered that I had a total of 3 accounts under my name since I have been a customer with them. The first account had a balance still owing of $1.50. The second account had a balance of $814.47 still owing. And the third account that they are currently providing me service on was up to date. They were not able to tell me why the account was owing this balance and they referred me to speak to D&A Collections to resolve this issue since they were now in possession of the account. After speaking to Gabriella once again she said that she didn't know why the balance was that amount but the only option to resolve the account was to make a payment in full otherwise the account would not be closed. I refused to pay the amount because I was sure my previous accounts were up to date. I decided to contact Bell Canada once again and have them look into the reason for the charged. They finally were able to see that the balance owing was from the second account for my main and second receiver that was never returned. When they opened my third account and closed my second account at the same time they opened the third account using my second account receivers, trying to charge me a second time for the same receivers. I then contacted the collection agency and spoke to Gabriella again and she said that she did not believe that I spoke to Bell since they would have given me a reference number confirming that his has happened. I told her that they did not give me a number but I was told by Bell that it would take up to two weeks for this to be processed in their computers and for the balance to be removed from they system. Gabriella then went on to inform me that what I was saying was not true and that I never talked to Bell and I was doing whatever I could to get away with not paying and after she has this affect my credit rating maybe I will take the charges more seriously and pay for the account then, and she ended the call with me. I immediately contacted the collection agency back and I was transferred to Alexandra a supervisor who said that she would be taking over my account from this point on and that she would contact Bell and to look to see if what I am saying is true. I contacted back the collection agency after Alexandra did not get back to me in the time that she stated. She said that she has good news and that she spoke to Bell and that on my next billing cycle that the invoice would be corrected and that there would be a zero balance on the $814.47 bill. She said that she would speak to the employee who dealt with me that that there would be an investigation on the way she treated me and the account. Stephan Rolland is the general manger for this location.

Same here, calling twice a day.
I also think they got my number from Fido, my mobile provider, as it all started right after visiting one of their stores to change my plan.
It is getting on my nerves.
The only think that deserves to be sued are the jerks @ Fido
The number is now on my reject list, and I suspect there are other suffixes of this number

They are people off the street hired ( for $10 bucks per hour) to call you and bring back unpaid depts from years ago by a Video tron or phone bills or anything like when you've moved and still owe  a little on.
They are given a file and call you using  info from anywhere they got your number from like filling out a free trip crap lye  at a store like Linen chest or  info you gave out over the phone on  a servey.

Never give out your info to anyone  never ever.

They found your number threw someone else givng out your info from a cellphone companies or your name on info 411.
Never answer if you do denie that person lives there and say another name. Make one up and repeat the pricess till they stop calling or put your phone on egnor that number.

Called our company said they were looking for ? (no name) and hung up.  What kind of bull is this? Either you know or you don't!  Came in under 450-988-1022 but also have 905-755-5585, 905-507-8889, 888-395-1147.  Who are these creeps?  They never leave any message except for this once.
