My phone rang this afternoon (Saturday) when I aswered there was no-one there.

How long well it be before walls do have ears and these strangers can eavesdrop on conversations and activites you are having in your own home?      Could be happening now.....not joking

Notice how CallerID4u.com doesn't give you any solid information and absolves themselves of any wrongdoing and only offer to open a complaint ticket and won't give you the name of the company that keeps disregarding the FTC, FCC and other laws?  Because that is just a breadcrumb that led me down the trail of other businesses that offer services that try to be legit, but use this one service as their bread and butter.  Other companies are Teldenort, which is affiliated with the real company called Slappey.net out of Birmingham.  Here is their number:  205-970-4240.  The COO is David Bailey. call him get his secretary to see if she will give you the name of their attorney.  the other company, Teldenort's COO is supposedly Michael Rodriguez.  This is what happens when people like these take advantage of the system, find loopholes and exploit them.  They cannot make money like the rest of us

Did a little research on 458-201-0152 and found the number apparently belongs to Callerid4U.  Seems they operate out of Eugene, OR and provide automated caller id and response services for scammers.  Unfortunately, I've already filed my FCC, FTC, and state attorney general complaints before I found this information.  If they call back, I'll be able to supply the agencies with a name.  Here's the "company's" website.

No response.  Called the number back to try to get info.  Recording wanted me to verify phone number to be removed from list.  Of course, I'm already on the DNC registry and it's the telemarketers responsibility to check it out.  Caller is scammer violating the law.  I will file my normal FCC, FTC, and state attorney general complaints but don't expect anything.  At least they know there's still scammers out there.

Spoofed phone number -- Recorded message, clearly directed at homeowners so automatically illegal. Bunch of b***s*** about "your current mortgage", and how there is a federal program to modify "your current mortgage" and prevent foreclosure. WHAT??? No distressed mortgage here.

So I played with the phone buttons... got voicemail for "a manager", and left a really rude and disgusting message. Pushed more buttons and got through to a "modification specialist" (one of the w***es)... gave her an earful too.

These are outright criminals, and they know what they are doing is illegal. They'll steal your personal and financial information, and then screw-up your mortgage and take your house.

458-201-0152 called my cell phone in the Boston area with a blank voicemail

Same here.  I just got a call from this number a couple of minutes ago, at 2:33 pm.  No message left.  Caller i.d. said "incoming call" - well duh!  No message means they'll never actually reach me!
