how do we get them to stop,on the DNC list also and they call EVERYDAY

Yet another stupid ROBO-CALL from the tele-terrorists.

Faked / spoofed number  - just about all calls showing to be from Oregon are tele-spammers.    Are there any REAL people living in Oregon still?  Or have all the phone numbers from there been taken by the tele-terrorists??

Alarm sales call.

This is by some foreign group that sells the "leads" they generate to alarm companies in your local area (read that as those that are DESPERATE for any type of business they can get!) for a fee - that's how these robo-callers are making their money now.  

These callers don't get paid by you or for what they are trying to sell, but by those businesses that they are selling these "leads" (also known as call transfers, warm transfers and warm leads) to the final business.

They charge the business either a monthly fee for these leads or on a "per lead" basis.   Either way, if the caller connects the business to a "lead" the telemarketer has made his money - regardless of whether you buy anything or not.

I always get my revenge by setting appointments with these guys and then raking them over the coals when they show up for the appointment.  I let them know how piss poor of a marketing strategy it is to have some foreign goons tele-spamming for them in an illegal fashion - and in particular, how ANNOYING it is to have to deal with all of the calls when I am ON the do not call list for a reason.

I have had a few that got rather snippy about being set up like this, but they ALWAYS back down when I tell them that they could always deal with our State Attorney General's office on the matter.  I am SURE they would like to discuss that marketing strategy with them.

I don't waste my time answering the phone for unknown callers. If they leave no voice mail, I just block the number on my phone. Problem solved.

They call be daily and I just answer and hang up immediately so
I don't have to hear phone ring 6 times.  I am on do not call registry so please stop calling and if anyone else reads this please just answer and hang up like I do!!!

CALLER ID only shows the # now. 458-201-0417  called at 3:16 pm today.  Left same dopey msg on voice mail. Sooooo tired of these calls!!!    I don't answer anymore.  Read the link provided by the user above. Totally disgusting scam!  I hope one day you are held accountable for your evil ways!!

I do not want this number calling my home phone anymore.

Just got the call from 458-201-0417.  Same story as everyone else.  Since being on the no call list the Feds keep, and which is as effective as a rat in a well, I may have a solution.  Track down the bastages making the call and break their kneecaps.  Maybe that will get their attention.  One thing about when I was in The Nam, I could frag someone who was a pain in the a$$.  Shame the same doesn't apply in a non-war zone.

Folks, your caller ID should be a dead give away!

The same network of criminal telemarketing scams about lowering your interest rate, fixing your computer and home security and etc. THEY ARE CRIMINALS LOOKING TO STEAL.

Caller ID, robo telemarketing calls and out of area call should all be clear signals that they will probably be scammers looking to steal your personal information and credit card information. They call almost EVERY SINGLE day, all from various numbers across the county. WE ALL SHOULD BE USE TO THIS AND AWARE that there is no company, there are no services, there is no home security, there is no customer service, there is no business. All there is is theft.

NEVER GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE. You wont recieve anything other than a headache cleaning up your credit and getting your identity back. Realize the usual call signs, never a company name, never a real number, never a call back number, wont send you information in the mall. They want you to act on impulse so they can steal quickly. The calls continue becuase people fall for these scams every single day. It takes just one person. Very important, WARN OTHERS. Tell your neighbors, your coworkers, your friends, your family to be aware that telemarketing scams are on the rise. Identity theft is one of the fastest growing crimes and that credit card theft increases EVERY SINGLE YEAR.

Be smart folks. These calls wont stop until people stop falling for them. They are criminals so dont take it personally. Be aware of the calls. They will call again, and again, and again, and again. All from different numbers, all with different caller ID's.

Report to the appropriate authorities EVERY SINGLE TIME. Do not call list, state attorney general's office, etc. Reporting here just lets others know, let the authorities know.

Robo Spammer called.  My phone is on the Gov's Do Not Call List and they still call.  I don't get it.

Same thing happened to me picked up the phone and no one was there.

I blocked this number also.  I am on both of the worthless Florida and national DNC lists.  I bought a blocking phone a couple of months ago, and have already blocked 82 of the available 220 (with att's 20) allowed blocks.  Even with DNC, the politicians and charity solicitors are "above the law", so call blocking is necessary, regardless.  When my current phone blocking storage capacity is filled, I will just buy another blocker or phone and continue blocking.

Thanks for your additions to the website - it proves to be very useful in fighting these illegal and harassing telephone calls.

However, in addition to providing information on this website, if you ARE on the National Do Not Call List, you MUST file a complaint with them so that the system works properly (https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx). The organization has to be made aware of  the names and numbers of the perpetrators so they know who to prosecute for violating federal law.  While I do not work for the DNC List, I have been a member since its inception, and each and EVERY time I report a number to them (with details such as date and time of call, number, etc.), that particular perpetrator has NEVER called again.  Yes, there have been a few instances where I have had to report a violator twice, but the calls DO stop. We have to do our part to help make the list effective. Each and every time you get a call to your home or cell from an unwanted or unsolicited telemarketer or any other harassing call, REPORT IT. It takes less than 5 minutes to report the call.  The same amount of time (or less) that it takes someone to post a rant on this website.

The second thing you should do is also report the violator to the FCC (http://www.fcc.gov/complaints). They work with the National Do Not Call List to help stop these calls.  It is a violation of federal statute (16 CFR Section 310.3(b) to harass anyone with unwanted or unsolicited calls.  Again, each and EVERY time you get a call from an unwanted or unsolicited telemarketer or any other harassing call, REPORT IT.

I am posting this because while I understand the frustration of getting these very annoying calls (I get them, too!), posting a rant on this website is not useful. This website is not the place to request that a violator stop calling you.  Use this website for its intended purpose - to provide needed information regarding a harassing call so the information can be used to help the FCC and the National Do Not Call List protect us from violators.  Thanks.

These guys just called me. When I answered I heard nothing but tears and whimpering, and in the background I could hear Sting, not sure which song, but it was definitely that idiot's voice. I understand why someone would listen to Sting and weep, I mean it really is weep-worthy crap, but why call me with that situation on a Thursday afternoon?

I got a call from this number about 9:02a.m. today & I didn't bother to answer.  I later looked at the ID.  Couldn't leave a message if they wanted because it's full.  It rang 7 times.  It was numbers in the place where the name would be.  I don't get calls this early from people I know.

this number called it shows the number where the name should be too and on the phone number is displayed-- they hung up on answering machine........ i see from other posts a telemarketer......irritating. i never answer numbers i do not know,  if no msg on who, what, whom they want i delete. had troubles earlier in year from this area(458) trying to sell supplemental insurance also. for aarp......

When I get these messages....I phone my police department & ask if it is true.  They keep note of
the phone numbers.
