ALERT.....calls often.  I never answer but look up the number. Says it's from Eugene, OR.  They have also called from 458-201-1676 besides the 458-201-2431!

Thianumber called me late this evening. I picked and listened to the lame, recorded, sales pitch. I pressed 5 and eagerly waited to speak to someone. Unfortunately when I pressed 5 I was disconnected. I am always ready to give these cons a tremendous tongue lashing if I'm able to actually to someone. Most often these callers are dirtbag Indian elephant jockeys who stink worse than piss.

Another telemarketing robocall that pray on seniors.  Add it to the the block list.

You're dead wrong that this scam originated from India. Only our good ole USA can cook up this kind of law-skirting techno robo mass dialing and then farm the answering to the poor suckers in India, and let them either gather the responding idiot data or receive our wrath.  Hahaha

6/12 19:37 I'm sure I've reported calls from Alert in the past, but it must have been from a different number.  In any case,  it only rang once so it must have been a robotic call.  Whatever the case may be, eventually, I hope this scam is shut down.  This preying on seniors is getting really old.  Just wish there weren't so many gullible elders out there.

I got called earlier this evening, I answered and immediately got a longwinded recording claiming that "If I'm 60 years or older I'm eligible to receive over $300.00 worth of free coupons, and how I can get my free life alert system." I waited for the recording to end, pressed 1 as instructed to get an operator, a woman answers ( a f u c k i n g Indian with a shrilling high pitched voice.) I tried to get some pertinent information out of her regarding who she works for, and all that Indian b i t c h would do is talk over me asking for my name. I finally told her where she can stick it and hung up. So many of these scams originate in India. The land of smelly, cheap, ruthless, scheming thugs! If this number calls me again I won't be quite so "cordial."

They're still using the number - I just got a call from it with ALERT in the caller ID. I can't use nomorobo with my phone, but I have a Panasonic cordless system that lets me block 250 numbers - and this is now one of them.

ALSO  GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER ( 458-201-2431 ) ; IT,S A NEW NUMBER ....... BUT SINGING THE SAME OLD SONG . MY MANY THANKS  TO THIS SITE AND THE PEOPLE WHO PROVIDE THE UPDATES ON THESE PARASITES .

These are scammers.....American Alert Systems.....I talked to a "Jason" and asked him for the address of the American Alert Systems and the idiot said he didn't know! I gave him a rash of crap and told him I want off their phone list and that I was reporting him. Don't give them ANY information! Not that I want their system, I just wanted their address for our attorney general....if they can't tell you the address of their company, then they don't need my information!

Also had a call an hour ago from 212-660-9874 about an alert button.

Received phone call from 458-201-2431. One ring answered call no one there. Call just said ALERT.  

Just received the same call from "ALERT" but fortunately, only one ring and gone.  NOMOROBO already has this number in its system and intercepted the call.

Senior Alert Scam!  The caller ID says ALERT and when you answer you get an automated message about saving money, medical alert devices, yada yada.  It gave an option to opt out by pressing 5, but since I never opted to receive their calls and don't know these jokers, I simply hung up.
