I received a call as well from this number. When I called back it was a telemarketing firm based in Dallas, Texas. Ugh frustrating!!!!

I have to take the time to write about guys that are telephone stupid? Well this clown James Livers tel 1-972-913-4916 if that is his name is in the business as a  bad debt collector. He asked my assistant for my cell phone #, when she said no, he hung up on her. When I called back they hung up on me several times. I wouldn't  give this clown the right time of day let along classified business information.  Maggots,bottom feeders,call it what you want need to get a real job and not waist my valuable time or yours.

This firm makes money by collecting and settling debts owed to businesses, with an agreed fee to be paid, upon collection and debt settlement. They are really into MAXIMIZING their profits. They collect the ENTIRE settlement, usually via wire transfers, and then pay out NONE of the monies to the parties that they represent.

Interesting business model, don't you think? I think its "genius". Problem is that these little things catch up to you with time. And you don't really know who it will be. It just kinda happens....

Tammy I would advise that you tell the whole story. You received a insurance check for some work to be donr on your home. You took the check and spent some of the money that was suppose to go to our client for the work performed. We understand your situation but you SPENT OUR CLIENTS MONEY!!

They are heavey handed cowards that make threats to disable seniors who owe a construction company less then $400.00.  They have threaten to knock down the doors to my home and remove floor tiles, because regular payents are not being made.  Payments are made when my fixed income allows extra cash.  I have gone without medication to pay my debt, but won't be doing that again.

You are a client of ours who placed a piece of crap with our office. We should bill you for sending us on a goose chase. You need to ensure that the work performed was sufficient to receive compensation. Its funny how your customer is going to sue you for the shabby work and screw up you did.

This guy is simply posting his own good works.  He is no theat other than a pest.  He is not an attorney and has no legal standing and should simply be reported to local authorities because of physical threats.  He is hired by desperate companies that again do not fully disclose situations.  We have hired a national PI and will probably ease the problem for most everybody soon.

Called, asking for the owner of the company, I told him that he wasn't in right now, said "I'll call him on his cell then sweetie" - there is no way that he knows the owner.

Is that you, Jim Livers?  I can't imagine you have any employees to do this for you, And we all know it really isn't a client, don't we?

We hired this agency based in Dallas to work 3 accounts that were delinquent in age ranging from 9-17 months. They recovered 2 out of the 3. We couldn't even get our customer to return our phone call. They recovered this money in a little over a week. They are very aggressive but it seems they follow up, return calls, and do what they say...

This guy is a  criminal, his real name is James Livers, he is a convicted felon, did 11 years in prison for robbing grocery stores!  His company name is Newman, Thomas & Associates, its a two man operation! He is being investigated by the FBI as we speak out of Florida! The company has only been open for a few months, they are NOT licensed or bonded in any state, so if he calls you contact the Attorney Generals office or get an attorney! A man named Jim Thomas called today asking for the boss and when I told him he wasnt here he started yelling at me and said "woman I am not going to tell you again to get your boss". For one the boss man was not here and secondly I would never pass a call to my boss when you are going to speak to me that way. My job is to weed out idiots like you because my boss does not have time for your stupidity. Just an FYI if you are trying to drum up new business or collect this is NOT the way to do it. Kidness will go a long way!!!!

This man called me as well, but it was because we owed money. Truth be told they were so effective, aggressive yes, but good...We paid our bill and hired them. It does sound like you need to do the same..

Extremely rude man named jim demanding and shouting over phone wishing to speak to company owner without identifying himself or nature of business. Caller id states this number belongs to Joint Venture Business. This company I think is a virtual business office line. It is a landline number in Carrollton, Texas.  I called this rude person back to inquire his company and he named a roofing business. I asked him why he didn't bother to identify nature of business and he began screaming at me to shut up. I hung up on him, but I cannot fathom this person actually obtaining business for a company in this manner.
