I answered the call because it said "Dallas" where I have family.  I gave her some information but nothing I thought was usable for scam.  They said a local insurance agent would be contacting me with an insurance comparison:  "Chris Sanchez".  Before I hung up, I heard the girl on the phone celebrating with the original caller... Woo Hoo!!! That is when I googled the phone number.  Ugh!

Had a call from Michelle from NBT...I asked what is NBT and she replied rudely it "national benefits" is the owner of the company in. I asked her to hold and kept her in holding til she hung up. This company has called us numerous times about three times a week. I have asked to be put on the do not call list and they claim "it takes 24 hours to be put on it" well, that was two weeks ago. Its a waste of my time! Stop calling, this is a business. My boss has better things to do and I don't need to screen stupid calls like this.

Called yet again. Asked to speak with the owner of the business. I replied with No thank you and hung up.

Trying to sell insurance

Identified herself as Brooke from Tom Mooreles' office, may I speak to the owner.  When I asked again who she was and from what office, she said "are you the owner"?  When I let her know that the owner was unavailable until Nov. 1, she said goodbye and hung up.

You are not alone .. these folks have called everyday for 1 week.

Now when I hear "I need to speak to the owner..." I just hang up.

Answered a call from this number. They asked for the owner of the business - when I said that the owner was not at this number but I could take a message and pass it along, they started to say something in a hurried manner and hung up. How Rude!!!

'John' called from Don Dentee's (?) office and asked for my boss by a name he doesn't use.  He said he is a local health insurance company for businesses, but then got mad when I told him he isn't calling locally since I can see his number on caller id.

Called our business this morning and asked for owner.  When the telemarketer was told the was not in the office, she asked for the wife.

they are telemarketers, looking for owner of business and thene spouse and then selling health care insurance. second time same  number was mortage insurance or rates..

They call every day or two.  Thanks to all of your posts here I didn't answer the first time but did double click the 'Block' button on my Digitone Call Blocker.  You all should get one.  It's very handy.  Now it just shows on the blocker as "Dallas TX" but thanks to the gizmo it never rings.  They just keep calling and calling though.

Phone display showed "anonymous" which always raises the red flag.  Woman asked for one of the managers by first name.  I asked who she was and she said "Anthony DeCruz's office."  And then hung up on me.  I mean really, she didn't even give me a chance to have a nice conversation with her!  But this number has been added to my very long list of bogus scammers.  These people (scammers) need to find a better hobby.

Recieved a call at my business this morning. She called and asked for me by my first name,when my worker told her i was not in she then requested to speak with my spouse. SUCH BS!!!

Ah yes... another call asking for the owner.  I hung up.  The end.... till next time.

Asked to speak with the owner of the business I asked who was calling and she replied with her name (can't remember) from MVP (how vague). I proceeded to ask what the call was pertaining too and I got hung up on. I guess that is one way to get a telemarketer to hang up on you!

I too just received a call from these people. I answered the phone with our company name and then she asked for the business owner, I asked what it was regarding and the caller (a woman) said they were calling from an insurance company about coverage. They asked if I was one of the owners and I said yes and asked if this was an advertising call , they hung up after I said I was one of the owners. I suspect they are a company compiling list for telemarketers. But I do not know for sure.

Time wasters.  Don't bother with them unless you enjoy wasting your time.

Just reporting our call... same as above. Happens several times a day. Very annoying.

Well a nasty woman call and asked for me by name ...as if she were a friend of mine... But .... She used my last name as my first name a common mistake by those who do not know me and mistake my last name as my first. Knowing now that she was not a friend or customer of my business, I asked for the reason she was calling and she nastily said that she need to talk to (last name) and if he was not there then she would contact him later and hung up ...generally nasty attitude....incomplete information and low class tactics.... Not a companynInwould deal with then!

It's spam: Called several times, never leaves a message

It's a scam!

Caller asks to speak with one of our agents who's name appears on a published directory. Calls both the company and the notary's personal numbers. Seems upset to find out that the agent is not the owner of the company and wants to know who the owner is. Hangs up when she finds out that the company is owned by a trust. Suspicious and rude.

Caller asked for me by name and said she was from the Small Business Association in West Palm Beach, even though the number she called from has a Texas exchange. She said they were sending me a health care comparison for small business owners and wanted to verify my address. I said I was not interested and she hung up. I called back and got voicemail for a Google number.  I Googled "small business association west palm beach" and could find no such organization.

caller id displays unknown.Everyday I get a call from this number same thing as other people are saying caller asking for the owner or his wife.

These are rude telemarketers that identify themselves by their first name, then say they are calling from "Rob Parks office. This is just a scam to get you to think they are someone important, or a personal call to the owner, to attempt to get you to put them through to the owner of the business.  I've received three calls in three days from this company from three different individuals, all using the same tactic. Each time I have told them we are not interested, do not call back, and remove us from their call list. They are now breaking the law by calling back. I keep a log of such calls.

Just got one from the same number you all are speaking about.  No answer when I picked up and answered as my business.  No answer, no hangup.
