Unwarranted call.

When I see HOME SECURITY my caller ID, I let it ring and finish my coffee, beer, Jack Daniels or whatever, After the noise stops, I check the alleged calling number on the Internet and then make comments like this one. When I get around to it, I'll fill a DNC complaint. When this spammer gets enough complaints, there will be a lawsuit and fines, but none of us spamees will get a cut.

Looks like the security system scammers are at it again.

First rule of thumb:
NEVER pick up a call that doesn't identify itself.

Second rule of thumb:
If you accidentally forget the first rule, NEVER press any number to "be put on their do not call list".  It doesn't work.  In fact, it has the opposite effect - it lets the robocaller system know your number is valid, and that there is someone that listens to their messages and follows their menu instructions.  Your number, in turn, may be sold thousands of times to other scammers.

The Do Not Call list IS THE LAW.  Can you imagine buying a security system from someone who breaks the law?

call all the time with different number. nothing but a scam. get a real job.

Has called me more times than I can count. Never leaves message except for a dial tone, and I sure as heck don't answer.

Most of the time I leave my ringer turned off anyway, and the number of ringe is set to two before the answering machine picks up, even when I do have the ringer on - You all should try that. It's WONDERFUL!

I figure if it's import enough for me to talk to them, they can leave a message. I check my message once or twice a day. If anyone needs anything before then, call 911.

I also have received calls from 469-251-2025.  My caller ID says it is Home Security (Dallas, TX).  I do not answer any out of area calls nor numbers I do not recognize, nor any toll-free numbers.  If I am home, I pick up the phone, do not say anything and hit the # key very fast repetitively for 60 seconds.  I have done this several months ago each time a number called, and the calls stopped.  As of two days ago, I am getting calls again and will do the same thing.

Have some fun with these idiots. Press 1 and when they pick up say, ?Hello this is Marshall Jones, to whom am I speaking?? Note the name Marshall (as a name), not the title Marshal (as in law enforcement officer). Listen to the panic as they quickly hang up!?

Just got a call from this number 469-251-2025, when I answered they hung up. Caller id said Home Security. When I dialed the number back I got a recording that said "the number you have dialed is not in service, please check the number and dial again" so I did just to make sure I dialed it correctly and got the SAME recording... (they have called a few times before doing the same thing but I never tried to call back until today) sounds like to me they are wanting to see if anyone is home to possibly commit a crime.... (Just my personal thought and feelings....)

If your going to take the time to call, then have the Balls to speak to me and not be rude and hang up. We are on the do not call list so I don't know why your not obeying the law and if I do find out who you "really" are, I will get you for harassment. YOU CAN COUNT ON IT!!!

I received this call about 5 months ago. I signed up to get my home security rigged with what they said was the latest equipment. This cost me  a total of $7209.31, up front. The monthly cost is only $36.00. They guy that installed the equipment stole several items of jewelry from my daughter's room and took some paperwork. Yesterday, we found out that someone has taken out 9 credit cards in our name and is charging things all over Los Angeles. We would not have found out except for Mastercard calling us. I am sick over this. I hate these people.

I have received MULTIPLE calls.  I have asked MULTIPLE times to be removed from their list and they just hang up.  I am SO tired of this!! I am on the National Do Not Call list and I've also reported this multiple times to them.  NOTHING has been done.  I am tired of it!!!!!!!

I have home system and do not need it replace if I replace it will be with COMCAST and have it for ever LIKE I HAVE MY TV PHONE INT, and get for alot greeper than they say and call frist not them and portland i can go to the blow j-b for it.

Just received a call from the number with the caller ID, Home Security listed.  Didn't answer and getting ready to block it.

I also used up the number of call blocks from the phone company as well as within my Panasonic phone, then happened to read a post about the DigiTone Call Blocker.

This thing has been a lifesaver - it holds up to 60 numbers, and even better, blocks out entire area codes, area codes with prefixes, or entire numbers.  I often block out area codes from areas that I don't know and it only counts as one "blocked" number.

They make it sound like they are representative of General Electric.   I wonder what the legal department at General Electric would do with this scam.

Yep, they call here all the time, also.  I already have an alarm system.  I don't need one from some outfit I've never heard of, thankyouverymuch.

I am on a do not call list and they keep calling

I got a call, waited through the lengthy automated message, and was connected with "Shawn" who made a rude comment and hung up after I requested his company not call back. Return calls of course were fruitless, and I could not even get connected.

This number is owned by Bandwidth.com, 1-800-808-5150. A pleasant gal there by the name of "Cory" could only divulge that yes, Bandwidth.com did own the 469-251-2025 number, but could divulge nothing further. She also refused to give me any contact info for administration at Bandwidth, and suggested I use a feature on their website for complaining after I informed her this was a phishing scam.

Perhaps if their 800 number is buried with calls, and the website rife with complaints, these scammers will be forced to try another telemarketing company at least. It seems as though Bandwidth.com is attempting to be a reputable company, inasmuch as one can be in the telemarketing industry.

Bandwidth is located at 4001 Weston Parkway in Cary, NC. Their CEO is David Morken. His home address, according to his County Assessor, is 113 Glen Haven Drive, Chapel Hill, NC, 27516. I suggest that you send him a letter, and complain about his company's refusal to divulge contact information on their clients. But hey, that may be their right - as is ours to access public information.

We've been plagued by these chuckleheads for months, we've reported them twice, & really the best advice period is screen your calls, y'all! If you don't recognize the number, don't pick up.

Calls again and again from these people's robodialer

Picked up the phone and a goofy guy tried to pitch me an overpriced alarm system. Talk about a profit margin!!! This is obviously a scam operation or an idiot is running the alarm service.

This number has called my house everyday for a week. When are these idiots going to get it. In the day and age of caller ID I am not going to answer a call from a number I don't recognize.

recorded message from Security Solutions wanting to install security system. Requests to be removed from their call list have been ignored. Get same telephone calls from various area codes. I have filed complaints with the Do Not Call Registry. Haven't experienced any reduction in telephone calls.

These freaks are a hypnotized bunch that wakes up everyday like robots, go towards their computers, and starts the robodialer. Sits behind it staring at the screen, and if somebody answers gets out of their hypnotic mode and starts using the same old b***s***.
